Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q

We went at 4:30pm ordered a kids meal pork sandwich, adult pork sandwich and an entree pork dinner w/ribs for $9.99 more, sides were all hot and good, our pork was warm outside cold inside. Sauces were good, like Bonos, banana pudding was good. The $9.99 half rack was charged $12.99 . This was our first time to visit. It's pricy for cold meat. But I think we may try it again someday as a back up if Woodpeckers barbeque runs out.
Cold pulled pork is just a turn off, ribs were good but real small.

First time at this spot, fantastic service … we had two little ones, Kristen took care of us entirely. I don’t leave reviews often, it was review worthy. 10/10 experience, it’s hard to get out with our kiddos she made us feel welcomed, food came out fantastic and quick, loved it and we will be back!

Enjoy dining at Bono’s, but wish they would stock the $9.99/refill cups as advertised on the table. Second time in two weeks to dine here and they are still out of these cups. If you don’t have them in stock, don’t advertise this offer!

Maybe I am coming at the wrong time, I was so disappointed with the ribs and chicken. The ribs were dry and old and the chicken was so hard for my client a window could have been knock out, I really appreciate when the owner would come around and let people know or send someone there from time to time. The fries were great and the bake beans also but nothing else and that's not Bono's for me this is my second time with bad results Be Bless

Clean and very friendly staff. We usually cannot get past anything with pulled pork, but this time we both tried the beef brisket. Wow. It was tender, moist, and great.

I watched the fry cook take his bare hands into the white onion ring box and take onion rings and put in the fryer. Love the food however he should have gloves on, older guy with gray hair.i don't know where his bare hands have been.

Server was fantastic. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Wings are SO good (smoked, then flash fried to finish!), but could've used a bunch more buffalo sauce. The disappointing part was that I got myself all excited for a big, just grilled burger, only to find out you can't get it anything but well done. What!? Who does that!? Overall, we'll be back. I just won't come if I'm hungry for a burger.

Upon placing a Cary out order today (2/28/2025) I asked for the receipt. The employee took the receipt and threw it at me. I asked her why she threw my receipt at me and she said I’m counting, you can wait it’s not like we weren’t going to give it to you. Others witnessed what happened without saying a word. I felt disrespected and helpless as the manager was not working. I left feeling like No one should spend money in this establishment!! I called corporate headquarters to complain about my experience the next day. I am pleased to report that the Manager Joy Crump called me back and made things right on behalf of her wayward employee. The call meant a lot. So thank you to the Management of this establishment who clearly cares about losing the business of a loyal customer.
