Best Bono’s and BBQ IN Jacksonville. I always order from this store do to the kindness and efficiency of the staff and Joy the owner great food for reasonable price. Been going to this location for over 10 years.

Clean and very friendly staff. We usually cannot get past anything with pulled pork, but this time we both tried the beef brisket. Wow. It was tender, moist, and great.

I watched the fry cook take his bare hands into the white onion ring box and take onion rings and put in the fryer. Love the food however he should have gloves on, older guy with gray hair.i don't know where his bare hands have been.

Server was fantastic. Pulled pork sandwich was great. Wings are SO good (smoked, then flash fried to finish!), but could've used a bunch more buffalo sauce. The disappointing part was that I got myself all excited for a big, just grilled burger, only to find out you can't get it anything but well done. What!? Who does that!? Overall, we'll be back. I just won't come if I'm hungry for a burger.

Upon placing a Cary out order today (2/28/2025) I asked for the receipt. The employee took the receipt and threw it at me. I asked her why she threw my receipt at me and she said I’m counting, you can wait it’s not like we weren’t going to give it to you. Others witnessed what happened without saying a word. I felt disrespected and helpless as the manager was not working. I left feeling like No one should spend money in this establishment!! I called corporate headquarters to complain about my experience the next day. I am pleased to report that the Manager Joy Crump called me back and made things right on behalf of her wayward employee. The call meant a lot. So thank you to the Management of this establishment who clearly cares about losing the business of a loyal customer.

Rude staff . We have been eating at this location for over 10 years and it’s sad to say that they have never recovered from 2020.
The staff is extremely rude and it’s the same staff year after year. We now go to the Bartram Park location because the service and food are so much better

Regular customers of this restaurant, had good experience here consistently til last week, messed up our order, did it twice tonight, offered discount, charged card for more than agreed, multiple people working table causing confusion with food and bill. Disappointing..

We enjoyed our experience at this location the food was great, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff was so sweet. Even team members that weren't our servers checked on us throughout our meal. Shout out to Donya for the ribs recommendation! And to Alfonso the pitmaster!
