Coffee was average at best. Went fot the huge biscuits being advertised online, but could have stayed home and baked frozen biscuits and saved a lot of time and money.
Tasty coffee
my favorite place to chill while studying or reading! the baristas are always super nice and friendly, and i love the coffee - the churro signature creation is PERFECT for my sweet tooth, haha 😅 i also love the music that plays inside, whoever made the playlist did a great job 😎
Loved their muffins and coffee selections
So much better than Starbucks. THANK YOU
This place is absolutely amazing and the customer service is Excellent ☕️🍳
I love the atmosphere here and the people are so sweet!!! I like to go in to do crafts, be around people and get a yummy drink. I’ve been getting a vanilla chai for a little while and that’s definitely one of my favorites! 💜💜

We frequent this location pretty often, I'm glad we have locally owned coffee shop nearby. The coffee and Matcha are always great and service is always quick and friendly.
The Soft pretzel is always amazing, it comes with a generous serving of Spicy Mustard and Beer Cheese. (I could drink the Spicy Mustard from a pint glass and I'd like to replace my blood with their Beer Cheese)
This morning I picked up Rex sandwiches on bagels for myself and my Dad, let me tell you that was a delicious, life changing sandwich. So delicious and beautiful I nearly cried tears of joy.

Brass tacks is one of my favorite local coffee shops. I live less than 5 minutes away & I look forward to waking up and getting my coffee from them. Even when I have coffee at home I’ll make an excuse to go get a cortado. They’re always changing up the flavors, the baristas are always super friendly as well. A great spot to study and read, Keep up the good work! ❤️

Poor interaction with the barista as I was concerned about getting a bagel instead of an English muffin after finding out about the long wait for English muffins. What she doesn’t know is I struggle with gluten sensitivity and it affects me pretty badly if im not careful. I went for the bagel because I was starving and also struggle with low blood sugar.
With so many people struggling with health problems nowadays it’s best to consider someone might be worried about their health and not simply a disgruntled customer.
I could not get my mind off of this and felt I needed to write a review because of the interaction.
The sandwich is really good, however , and is saving this place in my mind. Its worth the extra star to a four star review. Hopefully my experience will be better next time.

Kid-friendliness: I bring my kids here on occasion for one on one time with me. We play Uno or other games and chat. It's not a place to be loud and run around but still kid friendly.

After one week of experiments the only decent coffee I found in Jacksonville is here! Coffee how it has to be! The texture is smooth and rich, with a perfect balance of creaminess and boldness. The taste is full-bodied, leaving a satisfying finish.
Thanks!
