We enjoy Moon Dogs almost weekly. Variety and consistency keep us coming back. Where many restaurants service has fallen apart over the past few years the folks here have stayed happy and on point!

I wanted an authentic pizza, so we decided to try out Moon Dog Pie House.The place was pretty crowded, and we had to wait before being seated. Once we sat down, we discovered that the table had not been thoroughly wiped down.Our waitress was not very attentive. Upon receiving our food, We were not impressed. Blaze Pizza or one of the other chain pizza restaurants would've been better than this place. We also had appetizers, which were not great. The sauce fornrhe fried pickles was not pleasant. The other appetizer was supposed to have been similar to garlic knots. However, it was like lightly toasted sliced of bread with melted cheese with a side of tomato paste.At any rate, it wasn't our cup of tea.

I would not recommend this place. The service was not good; waitress visibly socializing with other employees while we really wanted drink refills, she did not come back until end of meal. Everyone at table agreed that the Chicago deep dish pizza was hardly edible. It was burnt, crust was clearly burnt, (got as appetizer, just to taste due to good reviews). 3 out of 5 people did not like the pizza ordered. My pizza did not have the only two toppings that I requested. Used to take my kids here, hadn't been in a couple of years. I won't go back. Definitely not worth the money.
Stopped here on an impromptu roadtrip, and honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had. If I ever find myself in the area again I would 100% return.

I like Moon Dog... been there lots of times. Usually get a Stromboli or chicken wings. Both very good. Salads are really good too - the cobb salad is huge. Several beers to choose from - would like more dark beers, but all good.
