The food is completely different to go versus dining in…and I have no idea as to why. The to go chicken hibachi looks fuzzy and when dining in it looks fresh.

**UPDATE: As I dined in today they updated me on the chicken to go vs in house and explained how they use ginger in the dish and that is the coating seen on the food in the to go container. Thanks for the in person explanation!! ❤️🔥

The food here is amazing! The chicken Pad Thai is my favorite and is loaded with chunky, flavorful chicken that tastes incredible. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

I’ve been craving Thai food during this pregnancy—especially red curry—and I can’t believe I’ve passed by this hidden gem so many times without stopping in. The red curry shrimp was absolutely delicious, and the portion was generous. My dinner even came with soup, salad, and rice, which made it an incredible value. This place truly gives you more bang for your buck. We’ll definitely be coming back to explore the rest of the menu!

We have loved ordering Wakame to go for years now, but tonight I was very disappointed to see that they’ve cut their hibachi meals in half. Both the soup and the chicken and veggies were half the size they’ve always been, but same cost. I could understand a slight reduction due to inflation but half the amount for the same price is absurd. Nonetheless, the food was delicious as always

I haven't had to many bad experiences here. Food is always good or ok. The lobster rolls are underwhelming but most other rolls are good.

I always enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Wakame! The food is delicious and very consistent! The sushi is always fresh and tasty and the have amazing special rolls on the board that are available!

I had sushi rolls, and my partner had Thai curry shrimp. They were both very well prepared and tasty. She had so much with the huge shrimp that she brought a whole second meal home as leftover. She was truly pleased. I can easily recommend this place for either Japanese or Thai food.

My wife and I decided to try this place out and were very happy we did. The Pad Thai was the best I've had since living in California and the ginger dressing with its hint of peanuts was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. The atmosphere was nice as was the staff. We highly recommend this place. I'm not the type to review restaurants or really anything, this may be my second time doing so. It's a little hidden but worth the find. We'll back for sure.

Update: the Yellow Curry is now my go to meal. I've never had better and since I've recently gone mostly gluten free, it really like soul food for me now.

Don’t order grilled Calamari . Inedible was like chewing a piece of rubber. Waitress didn’t care just said yes it’s a big calamari . Thai Basil spice level was inaccurate.
