Wakame Japanese Restaurant

I always enjoy the friendly atmosphere at Wakame! The food is delicious and very consistent! The sushi is always fresh and tasty and the have amazing special rolls on the board that are available!

I had sushi rolls, and my partner had Thai curry shrimp. They were both very well prepared and tasty. She had so much with the huge shrimp that she brought a whole second meal home as leftover. She was truly pleased. I can easily recommend this place for either Japanese or Thai food.

My wife and I decided to try this place out and were very happy we did. The Pad Thai was the best I've had since living in California and the ginger dressing with its hint of peanuts was so good I wanted to lick the bowl. The atmosphere was nice as was the staff. We highly recommend this place. I'm not the type to review restaurants or really anything, this may be my second time doing so. It's a little hidden but worth the find. We'll back for sure.

Update: the Yellow Curry is now my go to meal. I've never had better and since I've recently gone mostly gluten free, it really like soul food for me now.

Don’t order grilled Calamari . Inedible was like chewing a piece of rubber. Waitress didn’t care just said yes it’s a big calamari . Thai Basil spice level was inaccurate.

I Order some pad Thai and green Thai curry for pick up. Everything was excellent food was hot and took no time to make. This is my third time ordering from here and would continue. I highly recommend Walmart to anyone looking for some good pad Thai.

My familys usual spot for Japanese! It's always a lot of food for a decent price, sushi is good and the noodle dishes are always good. I usually get the Curry. Soups are great too. Friendly and attentive owners

Came here for lunch and had a Maki lunch special that comes with 3 rolls and soup/salad. The amount of fish in the rolls was generous and tasted really good. I had spicy escolar, avocado tuna and house special roll, all were delicious

I think it's a good place to get some sushi or Thai style cuisine as much as any other in the area. At one point it had really gone down but I think they have redeemed the quality pretty well since then. When I'm in the mood for sushi take out I usually go here vs the other spots in JCP. They have the real shrimp sauce not the orange mayo stuff.

This place is a hidden jewel - consistently good food, service & quiet atmosphere any time on any day.

Excellent place! We have dined in and picked up to-go orders and each time it was delicious. Most recently we did a sushi platters for a party and they were loved by all of the guests.
