Porky's Landing and Marina

We wanted to go for late lunch by boat, but they do not serve from the dinner menue until 5:00. Very limited menu before that. Many people from many communities near the St. Johns river like doing this, but dinner is too late. Most all go to the other place a couple miles north. This place used to be Porky's, now much nicer. Ample boat parking. Too bad they don't serve good food in afternoon.

Good service when we first got there. We had a large group and we're waited on right away. A couple of people sent their drinks back because they weren't right. Then when it came time to pay the bill the waiter took a long time to acknowledge us and told us to move to a certain part of the bar and continued to wait on other customers. Don't you think you should finish serving the people who are leaving first. Not happy. This is the second unfavorable review I have written. I hope they can get there service improved soon! ?

Awesome new owner and employees! They are under construction, new name.. Idle Awhile. I'm so excited to see it completed.We swing by weekly and their progress is amazing. The place is looking beautiful!

Formerly was....now is Swashbucklers!! Steer clear of the owner but the barmaid Ms. Chelsey is the one to go see! Sweet, beautiful, fun fun! And dresses for the occasion, Rarr me Hardies!

This place is closing for good. It needs a lot of work and some TLC. I'm sure when the foreclosure is done the bank will put it up for auction. It will take a ton of money to bring Porkies back to its former glory.

Great service at the breakfast bar from Natasha. Great food!! Natasha recommended we go to Salt Springs, so glad we listened and went. Was a great time exploring. Saw the biggest, bluest, blue crab ever.

Spent this weekend there. Great place!! John and his staff were very friendly. Very down to earth place!! Enjoyed Karoke with Joey Friday night and the Blues band Saturday night. Ate breakfast in the restaurant this morning it was delicious. Rooms were very clean. Thank you John for your awesome hospitality!! We'll see you next year if not before.
