We sat on the patio. Before we could finish our appetizer basket we decided to order a dozen plain steamed oysters. When we tried to order with original waitress, we were asked to cash out with her due to her shift ending. Ok, no problem. Cashed out and tipped big. The waitress coming on shift was present and took our (plain steamed) oyster order but while waiting , due to major wind, we moved from the outside table to the west side of the outside bar to escape some of the wind. When our oysters were brought out and sat on the outside table that we had moved from, my husband noticed and went over and picked them up and brought them to the bar. (Our second waitress had been standing at the wall directly behind us where we had moved to and never said a word to us about cashing out and still sat our order on the outside table.) When he turned and looked for the waitress (to cash out with her) she was walking to the kitchen so he sat down ate an oyster (which were cold and raw) and then, instead of complaining, just pushed the rest aside due to them not being steamed , as he’d ordered. The next thing we know, the bartender working the outside bar approached us with an attitude and said, “Since you started a tab with my server, you can cash out with her before you get anything from my bar!” while bobbing her head back and forth, very ghetto, and rude. My husband, already planning to do just that ,said yes, okay. As we got up to pay our second waitress she then grabbed the two plates of oysters and stomped off to the garbage can, and slammed them into the can so obnoxiously that another customer reacted with a, “Whoaaa!” We were shocked at the attitude we were given. It was very uncalled for and unacceptable behavior. The food was typical bar food, nothing to brag about. The oysters weren’t steamed but instead of complaining we set them aside. Our first server was great and the beer was cold. My unsweet tea was good. (I don’t drink alcohol but was trying to enjoy the outdoor scene.) Unfortunately, this obnoxiously rude bartender is the reason for the one star review. If it were possible to give stars in negative status that’s what would be given. Due to her tacky unprofessionalism, we will not be back. The first two times we’d been there, we excused her attitude thinking everyone has a bad day….. or two. But, strike three was today. She is very bad for business. I will be telling all of my clients about this experience to warn them not to waste their time and money on an establishment that employees this kind of person. (She exudes every symptom of bi-polar disorder without medication.) I’m sure you can figure out who she is because every time I’ve been there she has been either complaining about the owner or something else. But to end this with a positive, we quite enjoyed the outside atmosphere on the water and the music was enjoyable too. The outdoor bathrooms were clean and fully stocked.

Amazing place by the water, with lots of bikers and live music (visited Sundays). Great atmosphere if you like it rustic and real. I loved it there, very chilled, cold beer and food. Great place to hang out and watch and enjoy your time... 5 stars absolutely...

Captains pain killer is amazing!! We also ordered onion rings, fried okra, blt and chicken tenders which were all equally amazing. Our server was super attentive and sweet. Great food, drinks and service with a view, can’t complain about that.

Great rustic place on the river! Nice to sit on the dock and enjoy the breezy weather. Our waitress was nice but probably responsible for too many tables. We enjoyed lots of appetizers and drinks. Not pictured was the Reuben sandwich, chicken fingers, side salad. Otherwise we enjoyed smoked fish spread, fried pickles, butterflied shrimp, jalapeño poppers and egg rolls! Drinks were great too!
