This is the absolute best thing smoking, literally ?I'm trying to figure out what I love the most about this place. Is it the food or Ms. Tennessee AKA Amanda? She is the the reason I refused to leave town until eating here. When we 1st walked in we had just eaten lunch elsewhere and simply window shopping but after chatting with Amanda and the samples she gave us, my husband started working on extending our BNB reservation for an extra day. He knew I wasn't going no where without coming back here 1st and its a decision neither one of us regret making. 5* for everything. THE VIVE; ENERGY; CUSTOMER SERVICE; FOOD; AND REAL DEAL SWEET TEA

Delicious! Tasty! Come out to Mount Dora and check out this neat and adorable BBQ spot. Had lunch there yesterday, enjoyed mac n cheese and curry chicken and loads more offered... the staff is absolutely friendly and so helpful. I highly recommend.

They were two ladies the first lady was not pleasant at all she could have told us the kitchen was closed. But no she took the order and then didn't even take the order right charged us 58 for one meal and had a attitude when we were speaking with the other lady who had great customer services skill she stated she was from Tennessee and was very upbeat no the other lady should be retrained in people skills she had the look that I will never go there again your company will lose money with that type of person she wasn't nice or even spoke to me like you should have told me that in the first place who talk like that to customers! Just wanted to let you know the other lady a sweet doll but I will never eat there again!

Oh my. What is actually served looks nothing like the pictures. Random pieces of ribs tossed on a small plastic divided plate with 1/4 of a napkin. Sides are smaller than the picture as well. What’s worse is that I barely ate half because the meat seemed undercooked and greasy. Right after leaving I just felt awful for the rest of the day.As others have said, stay away and save your $

Really good BBQ!!! I don’t usually like Mac n Cheese but theirs was really good!! The Brisket was seasoned perfectly and I didn't even use the sauce. Wonderful meal and great atmosphere with friendly service.
Charged me $14 for a kids meal!Ordered a grilled cheese which comes with a drink and few bites of broccoli . Ridiculous!kids meal over priced!

I found it just ok- we stopped for lunch and it is located in a marketplace building with other eateries and a brewery- very little dining space inside, we opted to take one of the few tables outside. We weren't advised that they had lunch specials, and ended up ordering a dinner plate to split. The bread (I know, not really the meal) was hard to bite into, the mac-n-cheese over-cooked and over-seasoned & was not at all my taste. Black beans and rice was nothing special. The brisket was good, fatty and not a huge portion for the cost. We have definitely had better. Thursday lunch could have been better.

Was in the area and in the mood for some barbecue and Drove into downtown My. Dora specifically to eat here based on the reviews. I was disappointed that it was closing down at 3pm although Google said it closed at 8pm. Make sure you call ahead before making the trip.

Just stopped in for a quick bite after an antique show in Mt.Dora. The entire staff was very welcoming, any questions we had were quickly answered. The food was 10/10. I ordered the bbq pork chop platter with mac and collards and ohmygosh! So yum! Falls apart in your mouth. Try out some other sauces too! The curry chicken was seasoned to perfection. Will be back!!!
