This little family owned, seafood hole in the wall has been open for 48 years. That should tell you all you need to know. Probably the best kept "secret" in Graceville. My wife came here with her family, several times when she was a kid, but hadnt been back in over 30 years. It is what she has compared fried shrimp to ever since. She said they taste exactly as she remembers. The shrimp are large, perfectly battered, and fried until they become GBD. Golden, Brown and Delicious. The onion rings are the same. It is a no frills place. With any of the seafood baskets, you have 2 choices for sides, fries or salad. Portions are large. The staff is nice. The prices are very reasonable. Its about 2 and a half hours down here from the house...and I will be making this trek every couple of months.

Great spot for families…. If you have to wait to be seated, be sure to enjoy the game room next door and play checkers or read a magazine while you enjoy a rocking chair. The menu is limited with seafood, chicken tenders, and burgers. We ordered fried shrimp, shrimp and oysters, and chicken tenders for the main meal. Appetizers were fried pickles and fried onion rings. Top of the line service! Sweet tea glasses were always full. Seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection! Tasted like 5-star Restaurant on the coast! Side choices were only fries or salad. The salad was only iceberg lettuce and tomatoes-fresh and crisp. We asked for cheese to be added. It was served with crackers. The hidden gem is their homemade sauces! We tried the Ranch, tartar sauce(lots of pickles and onions), cocktail sauce, and “house dressing”/Thousand Island. The house dressing is their take on Mississippi Comeback Sauce/Fry Sauce. Make sure to ask for hush puppies-hot and fresh! Customer service is tops! The waitresses were friendly, prompt, and interacted with each family member. This is a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem in the Florida panhandle. It is well worth any wait or drive!
I was very excited about this place since we had heard such good things about it, but we were very disappointed. Very bland no flavor at all. The service was good but the food was absolutely terrible. Even the onion rings that the waitress recommended and said we're very good were bland and had no flavor
