It's a paradoxically chill and friendly military bar. The Red Bar will restore your faith in humanity a little. Great food, nice servers, tremendous beer selection, decor to study up on. You can tell immediately on walking in that this place puts people in a good mood.
Went out with the family last night to listen to some music and we are never disappointed when going to The Red Bar. It was packed as usual but that’s part of the fun. Be prepared to wait for a bit (1 hr last night) but it’s worth it. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere gives kids something different to look at all night. One of our favorite restaurants in this area. Live jazz 5 nights per week, Tuesday thru Saturday, starting at 5:30 pm. Limited menu options written on a blackboard, but we have never been disappointed with the delicious food. I ordered the shrimp and crawfish with tomato berre Blanc sauce over penne.
