Best coffee shop in the local area and maybe in Tampa.

I pulled up to the coffee shop today. When I opened my car door, I tapped the car next to me. I looked, didn’t see anything, and proceeded to go inside. The barista tells me I hit his car. I admitted it and said let’s go outside together and look. He confirmed there were no issues. When I left, having a feeling he was watching, I was extra careful opening my car door. He comes back out again and said I hit his car again. I said no I didn’t and, he didn’t believe me. He said, I just saw you. Then I showed him how I was able to open my car door without hitting his. After that proof, he turned around and walked back inside. First off, I’m a customer. You want to pick a fight with me, that’s not very becoming of the shop you represent. Second, MOVE YOUR CAR so it’s not directly in front of the shop where customers park. Third, don’t be a jerk when you’re in the wrong. Now I feel awkward going back. I think I’ll try that new coffee place in Carrollwood Village.

Random stop for a coffee. Surprisingly good coffee, coffee cake and waffle.

A place with a unique vibe. Staff serving while chatting with customers! I think this is great, it’s like visiting a friend! Very strong and different Espresso also with a lot of personality!

LOVE this little coffee shop. The environment is cute and cozy and love the staff. ONLY request/problem is the sizing. Please make bigger sizes. I drive 20min to you guys and I feel like I smash the large ( 16oz ) in minutes. I need like a 24oz or 32oz option pls. It would be amazing if you could start making bigger portions.

Great spot for coffee in Lutz area. Cortado was strong but flavour profile that was described by the barista was spot on for this columbian blend.

One of the worst (if not the worst) espressos I've ever had. And I've had a ton.
Very sour, with low crema—just plain awful.

This review comes from a perspective of one who is serious about coffee but not so much on coffee shops. I take my coffee seriously, and thus have invested heavily over the years on good pro level espresso machines, grinders, various drip pour/pour over coffees, and what seems like every accessory possibly related with coffee. And because of my serious interest, I am rarely impressed with coffee shop coffee. I often leave many establishments thinking my home coffee is better but I go to the cafes for meetings or whatever reasons. Not coffee.

Having said that, this coffee shop's cappuccino was my first really good impression of coffee from a local café. The capp was served with well done latte art. My friend's cup had multi-layered heart. Mine displayed what looked like a swan. I do latte art at home and not easily impressed, and not saying I was impressed with the art, but the right texture of the milk foam that was poured in. Foam done wrong, you might see bigger bubbles or texture that resembles meringue. But the right texture is micro foam that allows one to drink the incorporated milk as one coffee drink, not a separate element. The extraction of the espresso felt balanced, not bitter and my coffee was very good!!

I did not take pictures of the coffee or the shop because I did not go here for the experience or amusement of trying or reviewing a new café. But I wanted to give a shout out for the barista that made me a lovely cup of coffee that I thoroughly enjoyed outside my house. I felt this deserved a positive review!

Food and drinks are good, when they arnt out of something (which they always seem to be out of at least one or two things). Expensive though, $20 for two drinks (of their SMALLEST size) and one sandwhich. And for a place that is open during 12p-5p they should have more lunch options.

Freshest Chai ever! Service was on point. The shop smelled so good worked while thoroughly enjoying my latte. Good vibes & music too!

The coffee is delicious, but the customer service is even better! We love that there are plenty of options for drinks and vegan and gluten-free pastries to enjoy with coffee or tea.
