Ricky's Cuban Cafe

Don't understand what the hype is about this place, it was average. Food was ok. Service was alright. Trying to get our check was a bit hard due to waitress shortage. I came, I ate but will not return

I think they have one of the best cafe con leche here. But the atmosphere is awful and it smells so greasy. The Cuban toast is fabulous.

Excellent cafe, great service, friendly...basically everything that you would want from a cozy little Cuban cafe. Would definitely recommend.

Why 5 stars? Food was great, bkfast and lunch. Service was prompt, food arrived hot smelling delicious and it is small but also had outside seating, small but covered. So it's what someone might call a hole in the wall but was I will go again for a quick bite.

It was alright, the empanadas were okay, a lot of cumin in their meat, the flan looked like the kind that is store bought, color and flavor, the staff is really cool and the prices are low.

Terrible everything expensive

I was extremely disappointed with the food, this is the first time I order from this restaurant and the Moro which is the beans mixed with the rice smelled spoiled, I don’t know if it was because the restaurant was about to close and I did have it delivered they just gave me the end of the day left overs. Also I paid for another plate of white rice and black beans and I got yellow rice and garbanzo beans, plus the breaded steak and the milanesa steak was hard and dry. Over all totally disappointed. The only thing I can say they really did great was their beef patty. Our dinner was ruin.

I really wanted to like this place. I was born and raised in Miami so I’m no stranger to authentic Cuban food, but this place just wasn’t it. The white rice and moro were dry, all of our dishes lacked flavor and they even messed up our orders. Plus a little too expensive for the amount of food given. The waitress was very kind and provided her suggestions that is why I am giving the 1 star. However, I’m disappointed because the positive reviews were not reflected in my experience.

We had the Cuban Sandwich Tradicional. It was phenomenal. Everything Fresh and just delicious.
