the food is great. Large portions. Great drinks. Wish the one here in Green Cove/Lake Asbury would open back up. Everyone I have taken there loves the food. We were all sad when they closed. PLEASE OPEN BACK UP!!

Onion ring appetizer was good! My skewers were great over Cajun rice and my husband's burger was a bit overcooked, but still tasty! Our server, Amanda,v was great and handled is smoothly and with a smile on her face! We'll definitely be back!

We had an awesome breakfast there ?? this morning. Thank you for your great food and service. We will be back. Sorry that you only do breakfast on the weekends though.

I had the mahi tacos, which were excellent! We had an appetizer of bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers, they were spicy and delicious.The atmosphere was very relaxed and the outdoor dining area was so nice!

Great place to eat good food. Friendly staff. Good choice of food and drinks. Family friendly. Handicap accessible. Area clean. Bathrooms clean.

This was our third time to eat at Boondocks. Twice we sat at the bar as it was just my husband and I. This time we sat at a table as my son and his girlfriend joined us. Our first two visits, sitting at the bar, I got the impression that since we weren't regulars we didn't matter. Service was slow to nonexistent. Food wasn't that great either. Decided to try again. Same problems. Slow bar service. The bread on my sandwich was so burned I sent it back. One more chance. Tonight we went back and sat at a table. It was not busy. I waited at least 10 minutes for a drink when everyone else at my table had gotten theirs. Our server was too busy to take our orders. We had to get her attention to remind her we hadn't ordered. Our orders were not right, food out too early, not cooked right, bun burned on edges. I've given three chances and I will not be back.

The atmosphere is spectacular, I mean it's pretty darn cool in here that I'dgive a 5star for. The food i have to give 3. Not that it didn't taste good, but my cod was not fried long enough as well as my sweet potato fries. Need to be cook just a bit more for that crispy flavor texture.

This was the last time we will ever go to this place. I have NO idea if the food we ordered was good or not because we never got it. So many things went wrong - we were there waiting for our food just shy of an hour. We saw our waitress 3 times. She finally brought my husband's 2nd beer after waiting 20 more minutes. No food. That's when we asked to see the manager and she said "Yea OK" and stopped to wait on 2 more tables on her way there. After 10 more minutes of waiting we were told he was "working the food line" and couldn't talk to us. Waitress was horrible but the attitude of everyone there was aloofness and not giving a flying fleck. We left paid $0 because that's what we got ZERO

We went to see DUVAL COUNTY LINE band! The band was fabulous! The service was great and the food and drinks were really good. We’ll go back.

We have family in the Middleburg area and visit Boondocks usually one or two times a year. We enjoy eating there and enjoy the atmosphere, live music, etc but for this visit it was better to order carryout. We ordered two burger platters, two appetizers, one dinner salad and one steak dinner. The gal on the phone read back the order and all was confirmed. When I arrived to pick it up, the order was missing one appetizer and the steak dinner! The items were apparently never entered in the computer. The bartender, who waited on me offered to have the missing items made, but at that point all the other food would be cold. So we left with our partial order. The positive - all the items received were good. We will go back, but we will not carryout again.

Food and atmosphere good. Nice lodge look. Would suggest noting time limits on appetizers and not have so many items for the menu out of supply.

A great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner with a wide assortment of items to chose from. I have never had a bad meal there and their burgers are totally worth the trip!

Had a great time with our holiday visitors and enjoyed the stuffed jalapenos and burgers.Good service and good music!
