Woody’s BBQ in Green Cove Springs never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The ribs fall right off the bone, the pulled pork is smoky and tender, and their signature sauces take it all to the next level. The sides are just as good—especially the baked beans and coleslaw.

The staff is friendly, welcoming, and quick to make you feel at home. The restaurant has that classic BBQ joint atmosphere—relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for bringing family or friends.

From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was attentive without being overbearing, making us feel truly welcomed. And the Old Fashioned cocktail, Hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—perfectly balanced and crafted with care. This place is a gem, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Came here for fried pickles asked Bre to make me her favorite drink the best she can. This margarita was better than a mariachis margarita. The service i recieved from the whole team tonight was phenomenal. Highly recommend! I was made a cove by Bre, by far my favorite drink!!

currently using a walker and it was next to impossible to get in the restaurant. one of the ramps that I could roll up was blocked by planters and tables. the other one by a car and a golf cart, not to mention more planters and sofa seating. The food was good, not great, and two sandwiches with one side and a drink (with tip) was over $40. Definitely not worth the fight to get in and get out. I understand the store is fighting competition with El Mariachi's but, for the price, Mexican would have been more convenient.

We love the owners and everything they have put in! The atmosphere feels clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly and upbeat smiling and good team vibes. We loved having bre as our server! The ribs!! The ribs were delicious and fall of the bone! 10/10 recommend trying!

Great food and Amazing service. They have really turned this restaurant around. We will be back.

Years ago I worked in a Woodys BBQ I. Lake Placid Florida and recently I had the pleasure of revisiting their Green Cove Springs location just south of Jacksonville and was very pleased. First of all, when you are pressed for time a place where the m Ai. Entree is already cooked saves alot of time. I'll give you some of my fans to help you along. Appetizer....def Rings and Squash
They are fresh crispy and I like to dip in their homemade ranch or their horsey/source am and paprika dipping sauce.Then I suggest for a cold day a nice hot piping bowl of Brunswick Stew so yummy. Their meats are moist and fresh especially Smoked Turkeyre , Perfect Sliced Pork, spare ribs, a d awesome chicken. It's called a Taste of Woodys. You also get sliced beef and give never met a cook who could keep it moist and sausage but didn't ever care for sausage on. My BBQ plate and the will always allow you to change out your choice so I o.it beef and sausage add more turkey. Here you get two side choices. I suggest fried corn on the Cobb and sweet potato with cinnamon butter and garlic texas toast. Top that off with sweet tea and you ate set. I guarantee Togo boxes will be full
The cream pies are ti die for my faves are either chocolate cream or cream of coconut.piled at least 6" high. Our waitress was absolutely terrific her name was Lee. This girl needs a raise as well as cooks. Thank you guys for bringing back the Taste of Everthing I've missed. Oh did I mention for Thanksgiving they will smoke your turkey for you to perfection for s m all fee or order a whole pie not to mention. They cater for homes or office parties ensuring your guest are so grateful. Please if your near Green Cove Springs go in and ask for Lee and the Taste of Woodys!!!!

The best part of this place is the friendly staff that brought me the order for pick up. Food was disgusting. Got the feast for two. Chicken tasted like the skin was duct tape and the meat was dry with an after taste of factory floors. Ribs were bland and stiff with a texture of chewing on grizzle. The Corn…. Wild. Texas toast had more salt in it than carbs. No butter just straight salt. I don’t know what slices of meat I had but was guessing whether it was ham pork or brisket (mystery meat) Beans coleslaw and fries were average for being from the box of a dollar tree. I needed to roast this place just to make it worth me wasting $50 on inedible food and a whole night of stomach pains. Good day and good luck

Kirstyn was the best server and the food was excellent! Baby back ribs to die for. Kirstyn was very attentive and an excellent server!

The atmosphere was ok, the pullpork sandwiches had no flavor, the ribs were not very tender. The Cole slaw was great. I have eaten at other Woody's Bar-B-Q ans the food was great. Over all I was disappointed in the meal at this locstion. Next time I pass thru Greencove I will stop somewhere else.
