We were two couple here for the first time. What a nice surprise from the moment we approached the venue. First it was in a very nondescript plaza but the patrons were lined up outside to enter. We were astonished. I checked in for our 7:15 reservation on Saturday night and they gave me a beeper. We were a little early but we were beeped right on time. We waited on the benches outside. The inside is very rustic - reminds me of a cabin - Brad , our waiter introduced himself and reviewed the highlights of the menu. We started with drinks, steamers and French Onion soup. All excellent. Then we had very delicious crab cakes- very little filler and generous portion which comes with two sides. I had broccoli and a baked potato. Our friend had the grouper special which she enjoyed and her husband had the pork chop but he felt that it lacked flavor. The place was buzzing- it was crowded but we could still hear each other talk. Very bearable. No room for dessert. We will definitely return to this neighborhood gem in Green Acres for a delicious and casual meal.

The rudest young girls at front desk. EVA especially. Restaurant was empty...raining at 515 on a Sunday. Insisted I wait for the two additional people in my party. Took out ny phone to text my party that I'm waiting inside..the teenage Eva screamed at me not to take her photo??? Manager came out 2 inches from my face..screamed at me not to take pictures of his staff..rude...Inferior eatablishnent..eat elsewhere

It was our first time here and there were so many things that looked good on the menu we really did not know where to start.
My wife and I decided to go with two house specialties: I had the gumbo and she had the crab cakes.
The gumbo was really good and the portion was a lot more than I could possibly eat in one setting.
My wife's crab cakes were fantastic (she let me try some). I would keep going back for those alone but we want to try some of the other dishes first. So it looks like we will have to come back a few more times before we settle on our favorites.
Finally, I want to mention our server, Kim, was really attentive.

I have been coming to Eagle Grill for years and it remains a delighted destination. The quality of the food is excellent, the vibe is wonderful - a local “pub” in America, and the staff is friendly, competent, and attentive. They are famous for their crab cakes, which are of very little filler. The fish dip is always fresh and tasty. The meat dishes are always superb. I always end up with some take-away.
