One employee at 6:40pm on a Friday. Took 32 minutes to get four small ice cream scoops only to have a second employ appear with an abysmal attitude after her 30 minute lunch break. For $29.00 to experience awful customer service and ice crystals in the ice cream I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money.

All of the Hand made chocolates are delicious. The smell of the chocolate alone hitting you in the face like a MMA fighter when you walk through the doors is worth coming here. Unfortunately the don’t decorate the garden for Halloween or Christmas anymore, but the chocolate is still just as delicious.
Excellent shop, ice cream and hot chocolate was great and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Me and my husband just left Hoffman chocolate of lake worth rd Greenacres December 12th 2024 at around 6:50. We went straight to the ice parlor of the store. We were there for roughly 3 to 4 mins before we were noticed and immediately asked what we would like (Which was great by the way). But while we were choosing the ice cream we wanted. The employee immediately and abruptly took her gloves off whilst walking off with an irritated look and said just let me know when you’re ready. She left the service area and went through a door to the back of the store not to return while we were there. We waited for another 2 to 3 mins in which we felt the negative energy from said female employee while she was gone. We both decided to leave because of poor customer service. Also even while leaving the establishment, employee woman never returned to even see if we were ready to order so that also says a lot.

Tried to get ice cream 20mins before they closed and the clerk screamed at us that he already closed up the ice cream. We asked when does it normally close. His response was " well we have a lot of other stuff to do so we closed it early" meanwhile the entire staff was sitting around doing nothing. Guess that's the culture.

I am completely surprised by the negative reviews. I started coming here about 3 months ago and have since come almost once a week! My girls love coming for ice cream and the staff is ALWAYS friendly! The price is a little high but I genuinely feel like the quality makes it worth it. I definitely will continue to enjoy our weekly ice cream trips with the family.
Haven't been here long time was in army used to be one of the best place to go but got rid of factory,Christmas lights, and down home feeling. Now it's over priced corporate garbage it's really sad I will never go or buy this again.im just lost for words when I was deployed in the 90s all I wanted was Hoffman pretzel so happy brought back so many memories from when I was a kid it's over

Absolutely horrible customer service from a certain lady. Rude and condescending the entire time. Made me and my girlfriend feel stupid for asking questions that had no obvious answer, stared us down the entire time with mean looks. Not one smile, friendly hello/goodbye. Another lady who seems to more friendly tried helping us and the mean lady stopped her. Otherwise chocolates were good if not overpriced.

As of aug15 2024 I when in to Hoffman its sad that the corporate that runs this company has lost the true family business this company once was I am not the only one that sees this company has lost the real Hoffman experience the only hope we is if someone would buy this company back the way it should be if not you should close your doors forever

Do Not order from Hoffman’s. Every time I order they tell me they are not responsible for the online orders. My aunt is still waiting for her Get Well chocolate - day six and I finally have someone from the lake worth office called me to tell me they have no way to escalate the “already paid for order.” So disappointing how bad their fulfillment is.
