Wow. First time being here after living a while. I got the dragon fire which is like a cheesesteak with pepperoni and jalapeños and sweet (? Maybe) peppers and spicy cheese. I added onions grilled with it and lettuce. This is an incredible sub. The price was a bit of a turn off but I was committed so I rolled with it. Got home, opened up the box and found out why the price was the way it was. Not only is it a delicious sub, but a 12 inch easily feeds two very hungry people. So I have delicious leftovers. The bread is good. The staff is friendly. And I think the owner asked me how I was doing when he popped in for a second which was nice. It’s easy to miss because the parking lot is always empty but this is a fantastic place to seek out if you’re in the area. If they were in the plazas on jog and lake worth they would have a line out the door. But they’re not so you get your food pretty quick. I will 100% be going back.

I was in the area during lunch when I discovered this great sub shop in the Woodlake Boulevard Plaza. Totally Awesome Subs has been serving up fresh and delicious subs and salads since 2011. Totally Awesome Subs has a classic rock theme.. There are rock music posters and collectibles on the walls and music playing throughout the cafe. There are a number of tables if you want to eat in or you can take your meal to go as I did. All of the subs and salads are made with high quality meat and cheese, locally sourced produce, and fresh baked bread. The menu includes cold subs and wraps, hot subs including their signature subs, fresh salads, soups, and snacks. Feel free to customize your meal to your taste. I decided on the 8 inch Italian sub with ham, capicola, Genoa salami, and provolone. All subs come with lettuce, tomato, onion, sweet and hot peppers, oil vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, mayo, and mustard. Any other toppings are an additional price. I loved that they sliced the meet fresh for my sandwich and the bread was fresh. I took my sub to go to enjoy at a nearby park but I felt welcome to dine in. I found both the price and service to be satisfactory at Totally Awesome Subs. I would stop in again if I was in Greenacres and in need of a quality and budget friendly lunch.

I love this place. There's a tremendous variety of subs, and they are all freshly prepared. Do not think of Subways when considering this place for food. Think of a freshly prepared sandwich that is delicious with specialty sauces and ingenious combinations. Plus the owners are fantastic and very friendly. I also love the decor. A great place to get good, fresh food at a reasonable price.

Ordered a roast-beef with mozzarella, nothing else, and the sandwich came out to $17. For $17 your sandwich should impress you. It should be dense and packed with whatever you ordered. A couple slices of meat and a couple slices of cheese. And the bread was not fresh. I have avoided this place for years because of their prices, but finally decided to try it. Man, what a let down. The sandwich I received should have been $11-12 at most, even post Biden inflation. They have some nerve charging those prices for a mediocre product. But people with zero standards keep paying them…

The food is good, but the service has gone down hill. It seems to be there is a new lady behind the counter which was fine, but the gal 'training her' was rather rude. She kept walking away and the new lady was confused and when the the trainer would finally come she would roll her eyes and her impatience was deafening. Just witnessing their interaction made the experience uncomfortable. When she took over my order she was rude and condescending. I feel bad for anyone new that starts working there. She had a horrible attitude.
