My sister and I were looking for BBQ dinner. The place we were looking for turned out to be a food truck, which is fine but we wanted a sit down place. We passed Donna's BBQ on the way, so decided to give it a try even though it had less than 4 stars reviews. The inside dining is not open, but they have outside tables. We ordered at the window. The food was simply delicious! We had the Pulled Pork Meal, 1/2 Chicken Meal, with Collard Greens, Baked Beans and Cole Slaw. We also had 2 drinks. The chicken was not dry and flavorful. The pork had great flavor as well. The greens had a nice smoked flavor and the beans were just right and not too sweet. We were so full, didn't have a chance to eat the cole slaw. We plan another visit to try the Mac and Cheese and deserts. The 2 meals and two 32oz drinks cost us around $38 dollars.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the staff was very polite. Bbq is prepared in many different ways and I think some lose sight of that. I'm from the Memphis TN area and this is different from what we do there but it is good homemade food. I'm a small business owner too, so hats off to them and I wish them much success. In fact we had to wait because the first time we ordered they were sold out and we tried again the next weekend and enjoyed it.
