This, Mascotte/Groveland area, local BBQ restaurant serves fantastic meals! If you are looking to get an affordable meal that slow cooked and a taste of the south, you’ve found the right spot with Mahon’s Barbecue. There are seasonal and holiday catering services that are offered too. I highly recommend the sweet tea, smoked chicken, and baked beans. However, you can’t go wrong with trying anything off their savory menu. 🇺🇸☀️❤️

the brisket on this day was not brisket in my opinion and experience. it was beef round and tough as nails. the burnt ends are good. Cole slaw watery and soggy. very disappointed in the brisket.

Had brisket, pull pork and burnt ends. With my sandwiches I got baked beans and coleslaw. All of the food did not have any flavor. I was able to get a little flavor adding the sauce to the meat. True smoked brisket and pork will have the smoke flavor. This tasted like they added the liquid smoke or just hit the meat on the smoker for a short period. Definitely will.not be back for this food.

Comfortably the best BBQ I have had in Florida. Owners are humble, kind, and cook some meaaan BBQ. That brisket is flavorful and juicy, every time.

We made our first visit but it will not be the last. The number one item was being greeted by True Southern hospitality at the door. We were about an hour too late to try the brisket but had Ribs, Chicken, Pulled Pork and sides. We Loved the pulled Pork. Sides were tasty as well. If you haven’t tried this place You Need To go.
