I ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich from Meat Candy BBQ’s food truck at the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival in November 2025. After waiting about 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for my food, I was extremely disappointed to finally sit down and discover that the entire meal was cold. The pulled pork sandwich was served on plain bread—untouched, not toasted, not buttered, just straight out of the bag—and the meat itself was colder than room temperature.
To make matters worse, they were out of chips, which were supposed to come with the meal. Maybe the festival crowds overwhelmed them, but if a vendor can’t keep up with demand or runs out of basic items, it’s better to close for the day than serve cold, incomplete meals.
The two meals came to over $30 (plus the expected tip—another irritation for a food truck providing no actual service, but that seems to be the norm now). And on top of everything else, they weren’t selling drinks. So they were essentially serving BBQ sandwich “meals” with nothing to wash them down with.
Overall, a very disappointing experience from start to finish.

Finally found this restaurant at Seneca's Deli, and they definitely lived up to my expectations, they are really good and you can tell they smoked it. As far as the portions, they aren't stingy but go by the half pound and pound etc... But besides that I recommend.

I would to start off by saying great hospitality, prices are avg, seasoning and flavors are great but I found the brisket, ribs to be on dry side. But the awesome meat of both mine and my wife's meal was the Turkey.😀

We've been on the hunt for good brisket in pensacola and hadn't found it until here! It was amazing! Very reasonably priced and overall great experience! 10/10 reccomend!!

Not the worst, but not the best either. I got a slab of ribs, which were good. Good smoke and tender. Flavor from rub was pretty good. Sides were a different story for me. Beans and slaw seemed to be pepper heavy. I like pepper but these were a little much. I will try again with the pork or brisket but will definitely try different sides.

On vacation from Ohio love me some BBQ so I had to stop was kinda upset they didn't have enough brisket for meat plates only for sandwiches but the brisket was very good the pulled chicken was amazing juicy full of flavor and the mac n cheese is very good well be back hoping next time they'll have enough brisket for meal plates
If y’all have a chance Ryan has some of the best bbq we’ve ever had! He did a great job cratering our wedding BBQ and made the day run so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for an easier and more helpful person to work with! His communication was top notch!!!

If I could give zero stars that would be more accurate. Disgusting hard sorry excuse for food. Threw it away after 2 bites and the 2nd bite I forced down. The worker is the rudest person. I wouldn't ever waste my money or child's stomach again. Meat candy is garbage.
