I was born and raised in Pensacola, and can honestly say that Papa’s has been my favorite pizza for 20+ years.. In Highschool(2002-2006) I worked on Pensacola Beach’s fishing pier and the owner of Papa’s pizza would bring us his pies..It’s now 2025 and I just ate 3 big NY style slices and it tastes as good, if not better than ever!
We come to Papa's every time we come to Pensacola. My nephew said he wanted the pizza dough last year and the waitress brought him a pizza dough. He played with it the whole trip. We just went back this week and he got another pizza dough. Best pizza anywhere around.
This place is definitely a hidden gem. Very small restaurant on the boardwalk. They have excellent pizza by the slice or whole. The sauce is quite tasty. Counter service with tables inside and outside. They were steadily busy. Worth a visit.
