We were so impressed the first night at Shan Kishi New Hibachi that we went back again the very next evening—and both times we were completely blown away. The chefs put on an incredible show filled with fire, fun, and skill, making the entire table laugh and cheer while serving up food that’s beyond delicious.

The hibachi steak was perfectly tender, the seafood was cooked to perfection, and the fried rice is seriously addictive. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made right in front of you with amazing attention to detail.

The salmon bento lunch was phenomenal and cost less than $15

Update: So once again I came here for my lunch and the meal looks just as good as the last time and tastes even better! The server even remembered my name!

Our family has been coming to Shaun Kishi for years and it never disappoints. The sushi is truly outstanding. Always fresh and high quality. They bring in fish multiple times a week, and if you arrive early, you can even watch them carefully fillet it into smaller pieces. The habachi is fun and interactive, making it a great experience for both kids and adults. Best of all, it’s family owned, and you can really feel the care and pride they put into everything they serve. Highly recommend!

Attentive service, nice place. Three different sushi rolls and pretty disappointed with all three. Not even close in flavor compared to a place like Domo Cafe in Fort Walton, AND more expensive.
Won't be back. Just... Impressively boring even with getting three specialty rolls. Bland.

Very bad experience. Staff hovered around table and talked about a Starbucks job.Food came out cold and portions very small for the cost. Steak was over cooked and chewy very hard to eat. Shrimp was the same. My wife’s chicken was questionable concerning if cooked enough We were the first couple to be seated and don’t understand why they would put us next to staff standing /waiting and talking . This was unacceptable and will never go back . Worst experience ever with Japanese restaurant. Beware

When we first got there we were not greeted which is one of my biggest pet peeves,but once we got noticed ,it was a good experience, with the staff the other group of friends that were at our table sucked!!! They were so annoying and treating there 2 yr old so rudely but our chef was great, good interaction and a great additude ,the food was excellent, we got a Little bit of everything,I absolutely loved the pot stickers and we ordered the 804 roll sushi which was also fantastic, I ordered the steak and lobster hibachi and my husband got the chicken and filet , and none of it was a disappointment!! Would differently recommend and plan to go back again when we return to Pensacola. And be shout out to chef Sabio who was great and put on a great show and cooked our food perfectly, sorry you had to deal with those rude idiots 😉👍

I’ve been dining at Shank Kishi for years and have celebrated many birthdays there—but tonight was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had, not just at this restaurant, but at any hibachi spot.

Our chef, Sabio (nicknamed “Wasabi-o”), was absolutely phenomenal. He was funny, engaging, and had such a genuine energy. I really appreciated how original and creative his jokes were I laughed so hard at times I could barely catch my breath!

Our party of five had an amazing night filled with great food, lots of laughs, and a fantastic celebration for my friend Pam’s birthday. It was unforgettable from start to finish.
