Shan Kishi Japanese Hibachi

We really like the spicy edemame! The shrimp sushi tasted a little old. Did a great job with granting our special request of adding jalapeño to our avocado roll. The grilled squid was sort of bland. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was a little dark and dates. I wish they had some Japanes music on in the background.

Thin shorter Asian hibachi chef was a terrible entertainer. His energy was aggravated and in a hurry. He burnt the eggs for the rice and it tasted burnt and smashed an egg while cooking which left egg shell in the rice, on top of that tried throwing the entire egg away after he smashed it, wow! He made a huge mess, didn’t even put my rice on the side of the plate, he put it right in the middle. So rude and impatient . On top of that the miso soup tasted like WATER! Pathetic that we spent $160 on a birthday dinner for bad service. It was humid and warm in there and miserable workers. We go here each year twice a year for hibachi and this is the last time we will ever go! Good riddance !

Second time. Food was fine for hibachi. A bit thin on shrimp for the price. Only down side of this visit was the waitress. Young and snippy. The chef was good. Put in a good show and decent prep on the different meats and dishes. Return? Sure, but our first experience was better.

Went there to eat with my family. I ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice and it came laying on a bed of vegetables with onions, carrots, and some other vegetables. Nowhere on the menu. Did it say it had onions on it which I am allergic to when I mentioned it to the waitress, she said oh and walked away about 30 minutes later, she brought us our check and asked me if she would like them to remake it Mind you none of the food on the plate had been touched But they brought the check out before even asking me if I wanted it remade and wanted to make me pay for it And then she had to ask her manager to get it taken off. She was completely rude about the whole situation and so was the manager. I’ve lived in Gulfbreeze my whole life and I will never return back to this place after this experience

Hibachi and sushi are great but I keep going back for the salad with ginger dressing.
Had some uni (sea urchin) which I understand is a rare treat around here. Wasn't my cup of tea but cool to be able to try it. Also Connie was our waitress (I think) and she was awesome.

the server that took our drink order was very rude and unwelcoming, this was my first time at a hibachi place, and overall the food was decent. the chef was very good and friendly. the lady was rude tho. definitely won’t be going back

Hibachi lunch was salty and had to call several times to change. Server was unpolite and rude. On top a 18% service fee was automatically charged.
