The good, the bad and the beautiful. The restaurant was beautiful and had beach access for when you are done or before eating. The atmosphere was spot on and it was a very scenic place to eat lunch or dinner.
I came here for lunch. The waitress was very friendly and she gave excellent service.
The menu was pretty small, which I wasn't a fan of. There was not a lot of seafood options or options in general. The options they did have were pricey (for seafood and non seafood). Expect to spend about $22 on a sandwhich and $18 on a cocktail.
I ordered the fish sandwhich with tartar and fries. The sandwhich itself was good. The fried were excellent and the portions were a good size. I had a craving for a fried fish sandwhich, but surprisingly the only options were grilled or blackened. Despite that, it was good and I would definitely get it again.
I wanted to get a cocktail, but at $18, I figured I would go to another beach bar to get it. I ended up just getting a soda, which the waitress kept filled.
All in all, if money is no issue and you don't need a lot of menu options, if you mainly just want a good vibe and good food, this is the place for you. I enjoyed my lunch here and I probably would come back for the vibe alone. Great place for a date and then a walk along the beach. I didn't see any dessert options.
This place missed the mark on 5 stars just due to the lack of menu choices, drink choices and being slightly overpriced. I gave it a 4 because it was definitely above a 3(the fries were spot on and the sandwhich was decent in size and taste) and I felt a 3 would be unfair, but I also believe a 4 is a bit generous. It's about a 3.5

The Salty Rose: Beachside Vibes & Live Shows (3.5 Stars)

The Salty Rose Beach Bar and Grill in Pensacola Beach offered a mixed bag on our visit. Here's the breakdown:

Prime Location: After a long drive and a crowded post-Blue Angels scene, The Salty Rose's convenience was a lifesaver. Located right by the Holiday Inn Express and offering open-air beachside seating, it was the perfect spot to unwind.

Live Entertainment: Bonus points for the live music and the entertaining fire dancer show on the beach! It added a fun atmosphere to the evening.

Service with a Smile: The service was great, especially considering it wasn't very busy for a Saturday night.

Food: A Mixed Plate:

Burger Disappointment: The advertised "smash burger" was a miss. It wasn't what we expected and the patty itself raised some questions. Would not recommend.Caesar Wrap Success: The Caesar wrap, on the other hand, was a winner.Drinks: The beer wasn't very cold, which seemed to be a common theme in Pensacola Beach. However, my mixed drink from the menu was delicious!

Overall: The Salty Rose gets a 3.5-star rating. The location and entertainment are great, the service is friendly, and the drinks are good. However, the food was inconsistent, with the burger falling short. If you're looking for a fun and lively atmosphere with a beautiful beach view, The Salty Rose is worth a visit. Just manage your expectations on the food, especially the burger.

I don't remember his name, I'm sorry. He had a red white and blue cowboy hat that night that lit up. My food was perfect and hot. My drink was amazing even though it overflowed. Overall experience was awesome fireworks, live band, games, and hammocks. Must see bar on Pensacola Beach have fun

Fantastic place inside and out during the whole afternoon!! We had Pensacola Survivor there and it was perfect!! Plenty of shade, hammocks and seats for our whole group and the staff was so kind and helpful the whole afternoon!
In the evening staff was great as well, but when the band started playing it was extremely loud...sounded good from far away but I was wishing they had fewer speakers so close to the tables where people are talking.
Once it quieted down it was a lovely atmosphere with the fire and plenty of seating!
Most definitely coming back many times for beach days with our group in the future!

Newly opened, so cut them a little slack. Wonderful venue, gorgeous, live entertainment, usually. Check ahead. Food & drinks are not quite there yet. Staff is friendly, service is good.

Parking: Gulf side, direct access to beach. Gorgeous.

Kid-friendliness: Water spray area to play in. Lots of outdoor space.

The staff and location were superb. Chicken Nachos were phenomenal and more than I could finish myself. Drinks were excellent. Menu is limited bar fare but the food quality is good. Gratuity is to be expected, tip your bar tenders and waitstaff. Ray Ray took care of us both at the Salty Rose and inside the Pensacola Beach Resort on separate days. His service was top notch!Visited 4/25 & 4/26 2024

The burger was solid and the customer service was amazing. The waitress went over, above, and beyond to take good care of me, and make sure I had everything I needed. This is a place that I intended to hang out in a regular basis.

As a formal loyal to landshark, my family was really disappointed with our experience here. We ordered the fish nachos and they were missing half of the toppings that were listed on the menu, and the “creamy siracha sauce” that was on the menu for the chicken tenders was just a pile of ketchup packets. The food was low quality along with the service. Overall just really sad about the change.

We are local's and went to Salty Rose last night to check out the band. We had four Moscow Mule drinks made with the house vodka which was served in a 8 oz plastic cup.The check came to over $60.00. I thought it was a mistake so verified it with the bartendar. Nope it was correct. We will never ever return to this hole in the wall beach bar again and will tell everyone we know to stay away from this over priced rip off establishment.

Never again... Menu sucks, way overpriced, and they automatically add 18% gratuity. The nice atmosphere was shot, once I seen I was getting ripped off with my smash burger and fries. But the waitress got a tip for never bringing me my beer.
