I had to order a cake for my sister and her husbands 50th wedding anniversary. A real day to celebrate. So I trawled the internet and found Cake and Bake… wasn’t I lucky!! A very easy order made on the internet and a quick call to make sure they were able to deliver to the restaurant…..no problem with that.. when we saw the cake it was perfect, just as I had ordered. My sister was thrilled, the decoration was the same color of the bridesmaid dresses all those years ago. The cake was delicious, everybody (13 of us ) loved it!!! Do not hesitate to order from Cake and Bake, they made it all so easy even though I was doing all this from Md.

We chose the fake cake package for my daughter’s Quinceanera and boy, oh boy, the real cake they made to be served, our guests couldn't stop talking about. The fake cake looked real and gorgeous for pictures. I HIGHLY recommend this business...very responsive, professional, accommodating, informative and delicious 😋 We had the best variety of cakes for an amazing price...great service and very considerate/helpful!! The entire dessert table was gone in less than 1 hour!! Will use again for future events ♥️

Worst overpriced cake and taste. Cake was too dense, very dry, bitter and old taste. It seems like from a box. Frosting was too sweet, grainy, gritty and inconsistent. After spending over 95 about about 5.00 a slice. This not including tax and delivery. This was a small cake for about 10 people. We also order cakes for another event 35 dollars for a dozen cup cakes. They were same taste and frosting. They charge even samples 10 dollars. Whole Foods was cheaper and better we used them before this business. no refund at all and deposit anything under 100 dollars. They rope you in. Plus you must order way in advance. If your short notice you are screwed. They don’t treat everyone the same it seems after I ordered and picked up they only cater to certain people if not they don’t like you. We a basic super market Publix I had a good cake and rated good from others people.

I reached out to order treats for my daughter’s first birthday prior to arriving from out of town. I needed a small smash cake and a few dozen cupcakes. There was almost 24 hours between each question and response between the owner and me so I cut it very close in getting an order placed in time (granted I probably should have reached out more than two weeks before the party). I didn’t choose a cake off the site but one of my ideas was animal themed since we were doing animal kingdom on the day of my daughter’s first birthday. She said she could do a sunset cake with animal silhouettes, which sounded great. She asked if I wanted writing on the cake and as I was imaging a pretty elaborate cake, I didn’t think there’d be room to add writing without making the cake look too busy so she offered to write on the cake board.
Upon arrival, the cake looked ok. I thought there would be a lot more color to the sunset and I really feel she should have told me the top of the cake would be super plain without the writing or any other design. The cupcakes were horrible looking at $36 dozen. They didn’t taste bad but definitely just tasted like a basic box mix. Super disappointed overall.

I had found Cake and Bake at a Bridal show where they were showcasing their cake samples and I found the lavender flavor in particular so amazing. I took their business card to book with them for my wedding but it was very difficult to get in contact with them through phone call. They stated that there was an option to text them instead so I did and someone got back to me quicker. From there the first conversation I had with someone was great but following that day, their responses were so delayed and I had to keeping asking for basic information like if they needed my contact information, if there was an invoice that would be sent, and what time for pickup would work when wanting to place an order. I stated that I wanted to place an order on April 9th and all of the details of the order didn’t get set untill April 22nd, almost 2 weeks later, due to their poor communication. I had picked up my cake the day before my wedding day, and when it came time to eat it the “Lavender Cake with buttercream filling” tasted like vanilla cake with a hint of lavender, which was not at all like what I had originally tasted from them. Very dissatisfied with my experience ordering from them.

I was really disappointed when I arrived to my wedding reception and the cake was not the same design that I choose from her website.She never clarified that the shape from photo that she advertises on her business would be different.After contacting her, (didn't get any response, until my mother contacted her a month after the wedding, she responded to her) I felt she blamed it on me and she didn't apologize for the misunderstanding.In my opinion, as a professional and business owner, it is your responsibility to clarify the cake design and send an accurate photo, and at least to apologize.I would've wanted to use her again for other occasions, the taste of the cake was good, but the lack of accountability makes me not recommend her.
