I would never recommend this baker to anyone especially not for something as important as a wedding. The cake she delivered was sloppy, uneven, and looked nothing like what was promised. On top of that, the cake itself was dry and flavorless, completely unworthy of the occasion.
When we tried to discuss the issues, instead of taking any accountability, she dismissed my concerns and tried to make it seem like I was the problem. It was insulting and unprofessional and classic gaslighting instead of good customer service.
Weddings are stressful enough, and putting your trust in a vendor who doesn’t care about quality or responsibility only makes it worse. Save yourself the heartache and go to literally any other baker.
The cake with blue is what we ordered from her design profile and the only thing we changed was the blue to an emerald green. Not only did we not get emerald green the gold was a tacky shade and she added the awful uneven bubble border I absolutely hated.
Review reply rebuttal: At no point in my consultation or tasting was a border ever discussed. That claim is simply not true. And regardless, if a border was truly necessary because of your inability to stack and smooth two cake tiers cleanly, then it should have been executed properly. The border I received was sloppy, uneven, and only highlighted how poorly constructed the cake was.
The reason I left my original review was not out of malice, but to help prevent another bride from going through what I went through on one of the most important days of her life. A wedding cake is not just another order it’s something that should be handled with care, precision, and respect for the client’s trust. If this is truly your livelihood, then there should be a greater standard of quality and accountability instead of dismissing and gaslighting unhappy clients.
It’s also misleading to suggest that the venue restricted my design. I specifically chose one of YOUR own sample cakes a design you created yourself in order to keep it simple and within your comfort zone. Even with that, you still delivered something far below the quality represented in your own photos.
My review is not to “attack the entire cake,” but to be honest about what I received: a dry, poorly finished, misrepresented cake that fell short in both execution and professionalism. Brides deserve transparency, not excuses.

The cake was so moist the icing was so good & not too sweet. The design was perfect for all 3 cakes and flowed so wonderful. You went above what I pictured and the whole family loved it. Writing this review genuinely makes me so happy because I loved working with Cake and Bake so much! 🤍 They did our wedding cake! From the beginning the experience was remarkable. We did an “at home” tasting and picked up our tasting box which was so much fun. So many variations of cakes and fillings. We went with Lemon + Lemon for one tier and Amaretto + Guava for the other 2. Oh my goodness. This was by far the best cake I have EVER tried. My husband (fiance at the time) and I were in total awe. Our wedding guests are still talking about how amazing the cake was. I could not recommend them enough. We will be purchasing more cakes in the future for sure!

I had to order a cake for my sister and her husbands 50th wedding anniversary. A real day to celebrate. So I trawled the internet and found Cake and Bake… wasn’t I lucky!! A very easy order made on the internet and a quick call to make sure they were able to deliver to the restaurant…..no problem with that.. when we saw the cake it was perfect, just as I had ordered. My sister was thrilled, the decoration was the same color of the bridesmaid dresses all those years ago. The cake was delicious, everybody (13 of us ) loved it!!! Do not hesitate to order from Cake and Bake, they made it all so easy even though I was doing all this from Md.
We chose the fake cake package for my daughter’s Quinceanera and boy, oh boy, the real cake they made to be served, our guests couldn't stop talking about. The fake cake looked real and gorgeous for pictures. I HIGHLY recommend this business...very responsive, professional, accommodating, informative and delicious 😋 We had the best variety of cakes for an amazing price...great service and very considerate/helpful!!
