Walked into Dada’s Kitchen thinking I was a man. Walked out as a sentient drum of pikliz on a quest for truth. First bite of griyo and my jaw dislocated—not from pain, but from respect. The pork was so tender it apologized to my ancestors as I ate it. My fork bent under the emotional weight.

The black rice? A haunted forest of umami. I swear I heard it hum a lullaby in Creole. The plantains initiated me into a secret society of flavor sorcerers. I now have...

The food looks absolutely delicious. I have never eaten at Dada's kitchen(love the name btw) can you please come to the Gainesville area. The rich authentic Haitian taste is very little here. I searched for Haitian food near me and Mi apa popped up🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.
