Let me start off my review by saying that I know it gets busy around this time of year. Especially tonight, Christmas eve. I ordered online through Dennys at 9:02pm. My estimated pickup time was 9:30. I arrived around that time along with an older gentleman and was told my food would be ready in a few minutes. Nope not at all. An hour later!(i can be very patient btw). After asking about my food a fourth time I asked for a refund. The older guy was right next to me ready to raise hell! They had food in those pickup boxes and a few plates that had been sitting there for 15/20 minutes at that point. The chef kept cooking and the food kept stacking up. The waiters obviously didn't know what was what because they kept looking at the screen with the orders and opening up pickup boxes to see what was in there. The manager on duty couldn't even bother to get me my refund at that time because he was back there cooking too. Idk why if the waiters needed help. It was honestly a circus tonight. They took down my info and the GM is going to give me a call soon for my refund. I'll keep yall posted as to what happens. Shout out to the waiter though, he let me know he understands my frustration. He did try to make it right. Dude genuinely felt bad about my predicament. On the plus side, the old guy that was waiting just as long as me got his burger and onion rings lmao 🤣... silver lining for him at least. Edit/Update: I got my refund! Thanks to the GM who reached out. My review changes from 1 star to 4. We're all human and we make mistakes. That and I'm not mad anymore 😂

Food was cooked very good. The only problem, though that the turkey was a little bit dry but the gravy and stuffing made up Come for it. Mashed potatoes and gravy great portioning great quality great taste. Denny’s is going to the right direction for its comeback. ✅

We had breakfast this morning at Denny's Haines City. We were warmly greeted by Lavonda. She took our order, brought the food & noticed that powered sugar had been added which we said on ordering was a no-no for us. She return the french toast quickly. It probably could have stayed on the grill a little longer, but was good. She was prompt with asking if we wanted more coffee. When we mentioned the French toast, she said that we should not hesitate to let her know if something was not right. This young woman should be teaching other servers how they can multitask with a wonderful attitude. While we were there, some customers she remembered came in. One of their usual group was missing. They told her he has passed. She came around the table & hugged the lady. It was so real & touching. Lavonda, remember the name. She made our day & probably many other people.

A very nice place to go to. The staff is very professional and among them. Krystal is kind and has the tendency to make people feel great. I do recommend this place since lately, the great majority of businesses are lacking courtesy, as well as the ability to make people feel welcome.

Order a t-bone steak rare. Came back medium. The two side were barely warm. The waitress wanted to take it back, but I had to leave for appointment. Denny's menu is base on breakfast menu. No real lunch or dinner menu. If I didn't have to leave right away, I may have ask for the other steak. But being in a truck stop, I was surprised at the food. This is a convenient store with a fastfood restaurant. But I'm NOT SURPRIZE about Denny's. This rating is fore most I been to.
Today I had the worst panic attack at this restaurant. I told the waitress (sorry I did not catch her name) and she was so wonderful and kind. I did manage to eat two french toast and they were good but I could not really enjoy them obviously Thank you to the wonderful waitress that helped and understood.

Great experience at Denny’s! Kendall took amazing care of us — super friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit enjoyable. The food was delicious and came out perfectly. Definitely one of those meals that turns into a good moment. We’ll be back for sure! 😊
The Service was amazing, no rush the waiter Devon was really polite and didn’t make me feel rush he made a good atmosphere an it was very peaceful here, definitely coming again.
