Ordered a chicken taco salad and a strawberry mango margarita. It’s been a very long time since I’ve ordered a taco salad because my bowl would be soggy. But that was not the case here at El Viejon on Reynolds Rd. It was still crunchy and not soggy when I got home and full of yumminess. I love it here and I will be back soon!!! It’s so clean and very welcoming inside so if you want to dine for Mexican cuisine GO HERE!!! 10/10 for me

Best Mexican In Toledo & Currently My Favorite Restaurant in Northwest Ohio!
I live within walking distance to this place and have become a regular here. The food is consistently a 10/10. Always hot & fresh. I get the street tacos or Taquitos Mexicanos. The drinks are always made right and are well worth the price. Try the Cantarito or the Banana Margarita (I know this one sounds weird but trust me). They always have specials decorated on their board. The Bartender Yami makes us feel at home and when we don’t sit bar side the service is still 10/10! Sitting back and just observing the work flow you will notice the staff here works together well as a unit. They are extremely efficient and appear to enjoy their jobs. Before this place I enjoyed another close by Mexican restaurant and unfortunately they were not consistent at quality or service so I am truly grateful to have El Viejon in my neighborhood. Love this place and the food. Highly recommend. Oh I can’t forget..the desserts are incredible too. Try a tres leches cake!
