There are many places to eat in the Haines city area , different foods from all nationalities, and island cravings definitely stands out .
I decided to visit Island cravings and try their jerk chicken and conch fritters, and I was impressed, I came back to try the oxtail and I was blown away how tasty it is , the sides are just as good or better , now sides are not normally the highlight on an entrée but here they are.

I recently discovered this food truck while trying to find Caribbean restaurants in my neighborhood, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality! The chef is super friendly, kind and does an amazing job of blending the tastes of the various islands into his dishes. My favorite thing to order is the oxtail with mushroom rice and the jerk chicken quesadillas!!! 😁
