We got the steak and potato and chicken broccoli cheddar pies frozen from the Clermont farmers market last week and loved them! After following the cooking directions the crust and temperature were perfect. We also got some scones which were delicious. Was a super easy meal on a busy day for us and can’t wait to grab some more!

So this place microwaves what is in their refrigerators. The lady was nice enough, but the food isn't fresh and is overpriced and in a refrigerator. The pies we got were really salty and honestly a 99 cent Walmart pot pie was less salty and tastes better. Kinda overpriced

Purchased an 8oz Steak, Potato, Onion & Cheese Pie at a farmer's market. While the tast was good, there was not much to this $8.00 pot pie. Excessive amount of dough, not enough of the ingredients.

After discovering The Proper Pie Company at the Winter Haven Farmers Market we had to try them in person. If you’re looking for great service and food this is the place to go! I wholeheartedly believe they are the home of the best fish and chips in Polk County FL. The British pies and Scottish eggs are also extremely flavorful, if you’re ever in the area stop in for a steak pie. You will not regret it!

First time having the chicken, leak, and potatoe pie it was delicious. Have bought fish and chips often the best fish and chips in Haines City.

Went for a late lunch. Nothing was cozy,warm,wonderful, no food smells coming from kitchen,nothing. Empty restaurant,Empty kitchen weird vibe. Ordered the fish n chips,took absolutely forever. They came out with a lame excuse that they were making fresh batter. One more minute was another 10 minutes added to the 25 or so . Out comes a decent piece of batter fried fish ,that was totally void of taste,and fat ,hardly cooked ( not browned or seasoned or anything )French fries., like the cheap fat bag you buy at Winn Dixie .Where’s the chip pieces. No salt,empty shaker, no ketchup, empty container. No waitress after she put the fish n bland fries down. Disappeared never to return. It was just crap. My friend bought shortbread n bangers for a gift to a friend,hope they were ok.I have had better so many other places. I would give this 1/2 a star for cleanliness. Pies looked really small for the 7 or 8.99 price.

Very tasty. Lots of options. Tea could be served a little warmer, but besides that, perfect! Also, the scones with cream and jam are delightful.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I took my mother here for her 93rd birthday. Her sister moved to England 70 years ago. So, I was hoping it would be an authentic English experience for her. The place was totally empty when we arrived. We had to order at the register, they had a very limited amount of savory pies (most were frozen), and only 4 sweet pies, 3 of which were cherry. The atmosphere was almost that of a diner except it was too small to be a diner. No nice linens, no cozy for the hot tea, no menus at the table (I had to ask for one so my mother didn't have to stand up at the register while we ordered). I was told when I made the reservation, yes I reserved 3 seats, that mum would get a sweet birthday pie for her birthday. No pie. The woman at the register was perfunctory. Not overly nice or even friendly. Unlike the gal when I called to reserve (she was wonderful). Again, Huge Disappointment. We will not be making the trip from Lakeland again .

The proper pie makes amazing pies! One of my favorites is the barbecue pork, which is excellent, but I also like their buffalo chicken and of course, the traditional English meat pies. They have freshly made scones which are really good. Get them frozen to go for those nights when it’s too hot to cook, or you are too tired to cook!
