We usually get the “cod save the queen” deal, which is plenty of food for the four of us and very satisfying. Flavors are on the milder side, but we add some salt and vinegar and find it delicious! We’re also a huge fan of the mushy peas, and the tartar sauce is fresh and herby (although it is a little overpriced in my opinion, for the amount you get).We took a few pies to go, and the chicken curry and the apple custard pies were absolutely delicious! Only real complaint is how far they are from Lakeland, but they make the trip worth it. It’s honestly just really great having such a unique concept that’s different from all the chains and fast food.

I had been craving fish & chips so went to the Proper Pie but the food was awful. Soggy batter on the fish & chips that tasted stale. So very disappointed. The girl who served me however, was lovely! To be honest, the fish & chips at Culver’s is much better.

We had a great Fish n Chips lunch here today. We split a large piece of Cod with fries, both absolutely delicious and plenty for two of us. We also bought fresh scones to bring home. On special days they also have Haddock. Plenty of British goodies and frozen foods here as well.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The fish and chips was probably the freshest, best I have had in years! Highly recommend. Will most definitely be returning on the regular.
This is a quaint little spot in or near Haines City. We order a couple little desserts and some imported British products. Frankly, I am not impressed and in-fact I was very disappointed. Furthermore, everything I ordered was quite expensive. This was a miss for me and I am not returning. BTW, the gentleman at the tiil was friendly, patient and accommodating. Hence my rating.

I may have visited on a bad day. Based on the other reviews my experience is not typical. However. The food was awful. The chips were just ok. The cod over cooked in a horrible batter. The scotch egg was dry and very highly spicy. The sausage rolls were ok though.On the positive they have a reasonable collection of British sweets.

I had the small order of fish and chips. It's the best I've had in Florida, except maybe at EPCOT in the UK. They are very close. This place is worth looking for.Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't a ramp that I could see near the restaurant, but once on the sidewalk it's very accessible.
