Passing thru the area and was lucky to find this place! Food was amazing and Deanna was a wonderful waitress! Large portions and reasonable priced. We got breakfast and I loaded up on lunch sides before we left. Next trip we will be stopping here again! Definitely worth the stop!

Great spot in Hastings. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. They open for breakfast and lunch. We ordered lunch to go and that was pretty good too. It's definitely a favorite for locals but they warmly welcome passerbys!

You should be thankful to your owner, David Pelletier for being a great organizer and a great owner of your very successful restaurant. In St John’s County Florida David is a leader be very grateful you have him as your restaurant owner.

Food made me and my wife sick. Also was very unimpressed by quality, presentation, and flavor. Fish was overcooked, overseasond, with a weird taste as if the fish went bad and was cooked anyway potatoes were dry and old. Burrito was tasty but made me sick. I recommend a visit from the health department.

A local hangout right on the main street of Hastings. Lots of small town atmosphere, with home cooking comfort food. A regular stop for me when I’m in that area working with friends. The fish and grits, is my go to meal. Lots of other choices on the chalkboard to choose from. Classic Rock and Roll playing on the radio. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Vegetarian options: Small town diner, that has many meat and vegetables to choose from.

Dietary restrictions: Ask the server, and they’ll accommodate you.

Parking: The place fills up fast, and there are so many places in front.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love the place. Down home goodness all around

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Wait 30 minutes for them to then tell you they “lost” your order and blame it on a paper change in the machines. Food is alright when you are able to eat it, but something was absolutely broken about their process today.

We were going to get the blackened shrimp with balsamic but went with the special of fried chicken with 2 sides. We did mac-n-cheese and cucumber salad. Chicken was plentiful but a bit dry. Sides were good. Nice place! We went a couple blocks next door to grab some coffee on the way out of town.

This is a great place to take your friends and family for a meal. My French Dip was amazing. The roll perfectly soft, a generous portion of perfectly cooked tender roast beef. The cup of Au jus was generous and great flavor. My cucumber salad was mixed with just the right amount of onions, vinegar, water, and oil. It wasn't too much vinegar and spiced to perfection. My companion had a bacon sandwich that had a generous portion of bacon. There is no skimping with the portions. And, to finish lunch off, the brownie was delicious!!! It was moist, chocolate fudge quality, and topped with delicious mini morsels. This was a great find, and we look forward to having future meals again at Norma D's.
