Save yourself. Don't go here. I only went bc I was desperate. Ordered home fries with onions for bkfast. I got left-over steak fries--fried in a deep fryer. Onions were cooked to unrecognizable oblivion w/ enough oil to run a diesel truck. Oh yeah, BBQ is basic and pulled pork is mediocre. How do you ruin a turkey dinner? Open face turkey sandwich flavorless mashed spuds on Texas toast & 1/4 pound Oscar Meyer lunch meat turkey with BEEF-bouillon--as gravy on top. No, not turkey gravy, beef bouillon. No spice, no salt, no pepper, no onion, garlic or sage. And it was the cheapest possible Boullion. This is perhaps the single most grotesque food I ever had that wasn't spoiled. Hospital food & frozen dinner is better; No Kidding. At least they taste like turkey dinner. Walmart could take classes from these people on cheap, poor quality food.

We have missed getting here the last several times because of time, but today yes, we stopped and had the best burger you can get on HWY301 in Florida. Don’t miss this gem of a greasy spoon. You will not be disappointed.

This is not the place for takeout food. Past 2 times ordering takeout the food has been either overcooked or undercooked, was cold, or not the right order. Today was the last straw… ordered 3 tabs, 2nd order wasn’t right.. charged $15 for a loaded baked potato and a sweet tea 20oz tried to lie and say pulled pork was not said when my co worker who picked up heard me say it, it was also cold. Mine was $23 for a tender lunch special, corn nuggets and a 20oz root beer, my tenders were over cooked, my baked beans were undercooked and my fries tasted like they had been sitting for awhile. We also didn’t get any bbq sauce with the order that we had said we wanted extra of. Is ok for dining in. Will not be returning.

It is an old Sonny’s barbecue the second one ever made as told to me when I was there by a nice Bietnam veteran. The food was delicious, especially the sliced pork and ribs and this is a little gem of a place.

Fries are never cooked all the way through, pulled pork is nasty and just warm, better off to get sliced and have them chop it. This place use to be a good place to eat but over the past couple of years it has gone down 👎. Like people say there's no other place to go.

Extremely busy but the staff got us a table quickly and we did not wait long for our lunch despite them being slammed. Food was very good. Plan on going back.

We were starving and stopped here, Food was good but restaurant was very disgusting. Sat in back area by kitchen and the walk in kitchen was filthy dirty, looked like the whole place hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. One of the cooks stood right in front for the food window eating a piece of cake and then went right back to cooking.
I will not be going back due to the cleaning conditions.

Dianne's isn't terrible, better than sonny's for the most part. But when we locals want barbecue, we go to Pearl's country store, not far from here. They have real brisket, not sandwich meat. Real collard greens, not canned. Dianne's does have a good half pound burger deal for like $8 though!

Disappointed. Pulled pork slices thin and mostly fat. First time going probably not again.

we were hiking nearby. decided to stop here for lunch. The green beans were good but the meatloaf was kind of dry. I should have ordered something else. The people I were with said their food was good. the waitresses were very helpful. Hometown feeling. Good place to eat.

Seat yourself was told promptly.. I love that. Although my partner smelled old mop, we stayed. I was starving. The service was great. The order was taken fast , and I saw our food at the window. Another waitress noticed me notice, and she brought our food. It was still hot. So far, so good. I ordered a cheese omelet and home fries. While he had 2 eggs, bacon, grits, and toast.
I expected actual shredded cheese, not a slice of plastic cheese. Nor did I expect over cooked reheated potatoes. The bacon my partner received, we wouldn't bring to my dogs in the truck. When you ask if they have butter. Be sure you ask if it's 'real butter', as they sent out whipped spread! Again, more plastics! For the cost, I was expecting better quality .

Took 20 minutes for an order to even be taken, and didn’t tell us they were out of things until they took the order. Then proceeded to take literally 45 minutes to even get our food, which by the way we didn’t get the appetizers until we got the food.

If you’re just stopping for a quick bite; Please for the love of God go anywhere else.
