Wonderful little winery.I impulsively stopped by when I was driving past.The staff was helpful and fun to chat with and the wine was DELICIOUS!I love the Cranberry Harvest as well as the White Sangria.Grateful I decided on the tasting and to purchase the stemless glass I used.Here's to hoping that one day you can buy it by the glass while you're there one day!
Beautiful view and delicious fruity wine. What a gorgeous place to enjoy an afternoon. We were lucky enough to stay overnight via Harvest Hosts membership - it was so peaceful! The tour of the winery was really interesting and we got to see the wine being bottled! Everyone we met there was friendly and welcoming. In the middle of nowhere is a winery just north of Ocala, Florida. Hawthorne, population a bit over 1,000 residents and home of blueberry wine makers. On pending hurricane Dorian to hit Florida and on a very rainy day we pulled in to the visitor's center and main shop of Island Grove Wine Company.
