EVERYTHING !!! Where do I begin??? From the "home town" hospitality, delicious cuisine, and come on home feel, I don't know where you could go wrong. There is one thing that is evident for sure, the owner wants to make sure everyone feels at home and appreciated and by everyone I mean not only customers but the staff included!! That is hard to come by these days. Chicken King is somewhere where you can feel free to be yourself while enjoying some amazing, innovative but still down home delicious meals!

Our first time eating there and we have been here over 4 years . We heard it was really good and it truly was . Great staff, very friendly and helpful. The livers were REALLY GOOD. My son loved his gizzards and his twin brother lived the chicken fried chicken . Highly recommend and we will be back soon .

Been a long time. Enjoyed a nice Chopped Steak chef Special. Shrimp Basket . Fried Green Tomato was amazing. Great service and great food. Highly recommended.
The service is excellent. Everyone who works there is very friendly, and service is fast. The chicken is good. But the mashed potatoes are pretty horrible. They're obviously not "real." They don't taste like real mashed potatoes. I've been there twice and both times the mashed potatoes tasted off. The gravy was flavorless as far as I could tell. I suppose serving real mashed potatoes and gravy would increase the price, but I'd certainly be willing to pay it.

Friday, Aug 6, 2024 I finally was able to make a stop at this restaurant for lunch on my way home from some errands. Every time I drive by, the place has a full parking lot. The parking is a little wonky, but parking a truck can be a squeeze anywhere. I ordered a large amount of food, knowing I'd be bringing lots home for 2 more meals! I ordered 3 pieces of chicken, mashed, and cole slaw, plus an order of onion rings. I'll start with the onion rings. I am 66 yrs old and have eaten lots of O/R's in my days. These were among the top 3 I've ever had, anywhere. Seriously. Get yourself some of these. The price is half of what most places charge, too! The chicken and potatoes were spot on great. I had asked for butter and it came in packets on the plate. Perfect again! I also had cole slaw. A good amount in a monkey dish, but that was not my favorite. I prefer a more creamy, slightly sweet slaw. There was nothing wrong with it, just not how I make mine. I brought it home to doctor it up just a bit with mayo, sugar, minced onion, a little oil, and salt and pepper. I also got brown gravy on the side. I don't know why I order it, since it's not something I'm fond of, either. Maybe chicken gravy would be better, but give me butter and I'm usually fine with that. There was a roll on the plate, too. Yum! My server was excellent. Attentive, got everything right, and was cheerful. I can't wait to go back 😋 and try more of their offerings. I enjoyed it very much ❤
