The dinner salads were tiny. The entrees were terrible. My linguine and garlic shrimp were swimming in bland oil with jarred minced garlic. One bite was enough! My husband had the baked Ziti the sauce was pretty plain and the pasta was small and under cooked.

First of all I’m a fan of Heidi’s. I have always have been. I’m not a Italian Yankee, but I think the food is great. Since it moved to Hernando. I heard 1 of the cooks bought it and moved it. The homemade soups are still delicious and the chicken parmigiana is my favorite. I don’t need an Italian telling me what’s wrong with it bc I don’t care. It’s delicious and with 1 entree I can get at least 2 meals out of it. The amount u get is quite large. Someone complained their prices went up on a review. Wake up sir, so have everybody else’s. Have u been to the grocery store lately? I think it’s priced reasonable, great food, large quantities and the service is amazing compared to what is was in Inverness. They never had enough servers and they worked their servers to death. Only 2 for the whole restaurant. Now it’s so much better. The bread has changed. But I’ll take less bread over great service any day. Heidi’s is a must to check out in Hernando.

Definitely not the old Heidi's!Very disorganized! Out of many things, much smaller portions. Credit card machine issues!

This place has gone DOWN since they moved ! They are only taking cash (supposedly someone stole their credit card machine ). They only give you a handwritten receipt ( it does not have tax paid or anything)! The wings were absolutely disgusting! Took one bite and spit it out! Also before they offered garlic bread ... no garlic bread with pasta dinner! We had to call because we went there and they were closed ! No hours posted on the door ! We called and asked for their hours ... after calling about ten times !They do not answer their phones and when they do ... Be Prepared to hold on the phone and hung up on!UPDATE! They told us that they would refund us. We only took ONE bite and they only gave us “some” of the money back! And yes we returned all of their LOUSY OLD food! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! The “new owner” is very rude! I wonder why they have been closing early? The word is out! Bad business!

I do not recommend Heidi’s. Their food and customer service was much better at the old location in Inverness. Their hours are not consistent and they very rarely answer their phones so that you can place an order. Recently, was not able to pay by using a debit or credit card because of a story that they provided about credit card machine being stolen or something of that nature. I was not given a detailed receipt to show the total amount paid including taxes, which will be reported to the appropriate government agency. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. The chicken wings and fries were nasty and tasted spoiled. They only gave us a $13.00 refund for 12 wings and a half of a basket of fries…which is significantly less than what we actually paid. Do yourself a favor and AVOID Heidi’s at all cost!!!!!!!

Absolutely pitiful. A couple friends of mine and I thought we would try it out. The salads were insipid and not cold nor Chris. The Caesar salad dressing didn't resemble any kind of a real Caesar salad dressing. I had the linguine with garlic shrimp the linguine was not even al dente. My other friend had the linguini. We will not be going back.... we only run this experiment one time

sauce was like it came from a can and no spices added. chicken parm was the worst I've ever had. the breading didn't stick and chicken should have been Butterflied or pounded. it was not a cutlet it was a piece of chicken. the lasagna was the consistency of a frozen dinner. what a shame I will never go back ?

Went to their new location on North Florida by the 200 split.Got spaghetti with meatballs, come with salad and garlic knot. First off, the salad was alot if lettuce mostly, had one slice of cucumber, a couple of cherry tomatoes and a couple slices of white onion, there were scant traces of carrots and that's about it. What I'm saying is, it wasn't really a nicely dressed salad just bare bones, just enough to call it a salad. (Stumpknockers has the best salad). Next, the garlic knot. You get one small garlic knot with the entree. The garlic knot was not homemade and melt in your mouth or anything close, tasted more like a packaged item warmed in the oven, not really good. Next the spaghetti. Really rich sweet tomato flavor, thick but really didn't taste any real seasoning or flavor besides tomato. Tasted like mostly canned ingredients. Lastly, I would consider water if I ever went back there. The iced tea peaked out at $3.75 , for me I thought that was a bit high.Overall, just can't decide if it's average or below. My experience was that it was not that good and don't think I'll go back.

Heidi's recently moved from the previous Inverness location to Hernando, at the intersection of 41 and 200. The location is very convenient with plenty of parking. My wife and I were with another couple. We started with the fried cheese curd appetizer. This came with a delicious marinara sauce. The curds were very fresh and tasty. For our main courses each had something different. Spaghetti w/meatballs received high marks as did the spaghetti w/meat sauce. I had the claim linguini, good flavor and a generous portion of claims. To round it out lasagna, a generous tasty dish that left the individual with a smile on their face. The dinners come with the choice of a soup or salad. The salad size is generous and everyone seemed to enjoy the different dressings that they had. I opted for chicken w/noodle soup. This was no ordinary "chicken noodle soup" It had a depth of flavor with the chicken being well seasoned prior to cooking. This caught your attention with the first taste, the best I have ever experienced. Desert options were cheesecake and spumoni. Both were high quality. Service was very good with plenty of wait staff. Even though you had a server for your table the other servers were very observant and assisted each other. For a new location and only being open a few weeks we were all impressed.

The food here is great, hot and fresh. The salad is just right size with food and the garlic bread is great!

I swear i saw a rat walking in the place, and while in there waiting for my food i was appalled to see german roaches... the food was tasteless and disgusting, the bright side of it all was my waitress Candice who was absolutely perfect!
