Jama Benn Jama instantly reminded me of home. From the moment I walked in, the place had that cozy, lively Cuban vibe — salsa in the background, the smell of garlic and mojo in the air. The staff were friendly and quick, making sure everything came out fresh and hot.
I tried the ropa vieja and tostones, and both were spot-on — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The black beans and rice tasted just like abuela used to make. I paired it with a mango mojito, which was refreshing without being too sweet. For dessert, the flan was creamy and smooth, easily one of the best I’ve had in Miami.
You can tell they care about every detail, from presentation to seasoning. Whether you’re Cuban or just love good Latin comfort food, this spot is a must-visit.

This place is way more than just a restaurant it’s a full-on experience of Cuban comfort food with a smoky southern twist I had the completa with scrambled eggs bacon and toast followed by their amazing pan con lechón and I can honestly say everything was cooked perfectly The croquetas are crispy outside creamy inside and go perfectly with the café con leche which is smooth and rich The brisket sandwich was also a standout tender meat and flavorful sauce in every bite The staff made me feel like I’d been coming there for years and the vibe is relaxed casual and welcoming I ended with the guava and cream cheese disco which was sweet flaky and perfect to wrap up the meal I’d give them ten stars if I could

This is such an odd little place. I would say its the Cracker Barrel for Cubans 😆. The food was amazing and the servers were super friendly. I can't suggest it enough.

I went yesterday with my husband and our son who is 7 for dinner. We ordered an appetizer called “el cubiche” while the chorizo it comes with was delicious and the yuca frita was good as well, the chicharrones were under cooked and had very little flavor. My husband ordered congri, pork steak and boniato frito he said it was delicious. I ordered white rice, black beans and chicken skewers which was raw. The black beans were extremely salty. I asked the waitress to please get me something else and I ordered a chicken breast to replace the skewers, this was so salty it was impossible to eat. My son ordered white rice, French fries, and chicken breast. The French fries were not cooked at all they were still hard and they tasted like they had been thrown into old oil, it was disgusting. Overall not satisfied with the dinner, I think we will try breakfast next, purely because the place itself is very different and my son loved playing outside.
