I remember when Canton Village was the place to eat great Chinese food. My dad used to take us there every weekend when we lived in Miami, over 30 years ago, when Jimmy was the cook and his wife used to answer the phone, etc. I visited them this weekend, and to my surprise, everything had changed when I walked in. I asked if Jimmy was still the owner, and they told me that yes, he was still the owner, but now his nephew was in charge. To my surprise, the food was terrible. The fried rice was very yellow. I ordered beef and broccoli; it was terribly cold, and the meat was hard. I also ordered breaded shrimp; it was different and tasted terrible. Well, I will not be eating there again.

I used to love this place as a kid. I lived in Hialeah back when this place was popping with people. But if we are talking about today? If it’s between this and going hungry, eat your shoe first. It’s honestly so bad, it’s almost unbelievable. Remaking it or getting my money back? No thanks. I would rather live with the sting that these guys took my money and learn what it means to truly never visit a restaurant again. Being 100% frank with you, it should be illegal that they are serving this slop and charging so much. But the cashier was polite.

This Chinese restaurant was our home favorite restaurant for more than 20 years. We used to order food multiple times a week. Unfortunately, they changed the owners and the food quality is horrible and the service as well. Our favorite was the spring rolls (with vegetables) and the new ones are REALLY bad ( see picture) . Don't waste your money until they get better. I really hope they are able to get a good chef and better ingredients soon.

Best Chinese food in Hialeah. Cheap. Good portions. Super tasty. Cashier is rude but that's normal in Hialeah.

After so many years of living Hialeah and ordering food from this restaurant they’re forcing me to pay an extra $1 for fortune cookies. I ordered $66 worth of food and they wouldn’t even give me extra plates on top of this without charging me more. I am appalled by this service and displeased with the way they treat their community, I am a local who orders very frequently for my family and I will no longer be ordering here again this ruined the experience, many years ago their was a place called kam kee where the service and customer was at true value, as years pass by we have taken notice of the diminishing of value at customer service. Not to mention the low quality that has been provided by such an establishment in my community.

The food really is not that good. I got general tso’s and the sauce is watery causing the chicken to be soggy. No cutlery either provided either luckily the hotel had some. I don’t understand how this place has overall 4 stars and so many 1 star reviews; I would have never ordered from here if I read the reviews.
