Excelente food , service , and entertainment 🙏❤️👏👏👏👏
Good Spanish food and service. They had live music which was nice, but it was too loud for such a small dinning room. I would turn it down a bit so people can still carry conversations.
The best tablado en Miami
Very good service from the staff, Food was ok not great I have to say maybe appetizers bigger portions so it can be shared given their prices, Wine selection was great. One thing I requested a cake and candles for my mom since it was her 70's bday wanted to be special but they didn't do it :(
Food was very authentic and excellent quality from the appetizers to main dishes all sublime. Wine was very good and the attention from our waiter was memorable and detail
Excellent food. The Best Spanish food. Great wine, now with full bar. Super friendly service, and Fridays and Saturdays Flamenco and bolero show
We ordered a Grilled Seafood Platter for 2 ($69.) and EVERY item was "THE BEST!!!"" It included Grouper, Shrimp, Lobster, Mussels, Calamari and a wonderful mixed vegetable! We took some of the seafood back to the hotel because we could not eat it all and could NOT see it thrown away! Now, I can hardly wait for lunch tomorrow so that we can finish it! If you love fresh seafood you will LOVE this place! Our waiter, Omar was excellent and very helpful with menu selection!
We recently went to La Taberna de Ignacio that is located in a busy strip mall. There was plenty of parking at 11:30 a.m. Monday but the parking lot was full by 12:30 p.m. It is a small restaurant with no more than 20 tables. The restaurant's Spanish-themed décor included conquistador armor and faded posters of flamenco dancers. There was a musty smell when we entered the restaurant. The restaurant was not crowded during our early Monday lunch - the clientele appeared to be mainly older couples and workers out for lunch. Service was friendly and professional. Our waiter checked on us throughout our meal. La Taberna de Ignacio is known for paella - the paella starts at $20 per person with a minimum of two orders and there will be a 45 minute wait. During weekdays, there is a $19.95 three course lunch special. We ordered off the regular menu. We had two tapas - chorizo in wine sauce ($10.95) and octopus a la gallega ($15.95) - and shared an order of caldoso de mariscos, a seafood stew ($19.95). The portions were large and we could have just ordered the chorizo and octopus for lunch. The chorizo dish had around 18 large crispy pieces of meaty chorizo. The chorizo was not overly spicy but the chorizo sat in pool of oil. The octopus dish was full of tender slices of fresh octopus and chunks of potato. I enjoyed the octopus dish but it was very dry with no sauce. The seafood rice stew was large enough for two people - lots of fresh shrimp and tender squid rings, a few pieces of fresh fish, and two mussels (off tasting). The rice was not overcooked and retained a firm bite even though it was a part of a stew. There was lunch hour entertainment. One corner of the restaurant was occupied by an older gentleman who played an electric keyboard - it was keyboard karaoke to 80s music such as the Bee Gees. Other reviewers on Trip Advisor and YELP have complained about an entertainment cover charge and being charged for bottled water without being given a choice of tap water. We had neither problem - water was served from a pitcher and there was no cover charge for the lunch hour entertainment.
A family neighborhood gem in a clean strip Plaza near the highway at 68th St In Hialeah. We were greeted and welcomed ito a traditionally decorated Spanish Taberna. We ordered a grilled octopus starter and their Seafood Paella signature dish. A short wait for the freshly made parlla but a bottle of Rioja and the fine Spanish music enhanced our expectations. It was superb. Just as described in the local "Check Please" PBS series. They celebrated our anniversary with love songs, almond cake and flan Catalana. Worth the trip from Fort Lauderdale.

A family neighborhood gem in a clean strip Plaza near the highway at 68th St In Hialeah. We were greeted and welcomed ito a traditionally decorated Spanish Taberna. We ordered a grilled octopus starter and their Seafood Paella signature dish. A short wait for the freshly made parlla but a bottle of Rioja Crianza and the fine DJ playing Spanish music enhanced our expectations. It was superb. Nicely served by our attentive waiter. Just as described in the local "Check Please" PBS series. They celebrated our anniversary with love songs, almond cake and flan Catalana. Especially nice as our recent Madrid paella experience was a bust! Worth the trip to Hialeah from Fort Lauderdale.
One of our favorite places. Great food, service and reasonable prices. But better make reservations even for lunch as we have seen people turned away
Last visit was 2 years ago with my wife. This visit was with 4 friends for tapas and wine. The table server Omar was very helpful and courteous. We began with serrano ham as well as codfish croquettes and a plate of sliced serrano ham and manchego cheese. Both the ham and codfish croquettes were very tasty and had more of the ham and codfish then it did Bechamel sauce. Later we enjoyed the garbanzo frito with chorizo in wine. Lastly we finished with white anchovies in vinaigrette, pulpo a la Gallega and more codfish coquette. All throughout while enjoying our bottle of Rioja wine. The portions of the tapas were large enough to be filling and not want to have dessert. I ended with cafe Bonbon. It was an enjoyable and delightful dinner while enjoying the very good food and the tablao flamenco. Which shows that you can enjoy Spanish food cooked by a Spanish chef in Miami without having to be in Spain as well as enjoying Memphis style ribs without being in Tennessee and eating at a very good barbecue restaurant in Madrid owned by American expats. By the way the customer service here is extremely better than any sort of customer service and waiters you may find while visiting and eating in Spain. The price with tip came to a $157.
Recomiendo a La Taberna de Ignacio porque tienen excelente servicio y atención para la celebración de los 80 años de mi abuelo Hector Espinosa. Muy bien tratamiento , música, comida, y ambiente. Muchas gracias por dar le una noche especial.
