What can I tell you about this place, I wish I can add more..
The food is great, the services , the servers , the people that goes there ,are regular customers for at least 5-10 years, the owner is like no others, she love all customers, she even served if the place is to busy (very humble person) don't believed my review, Please go and ask for Mary , she's the owner and a beautiful human being , I seen her giving food to kids that pass by from school or the street asking for just water, but she always ask, did you eat? are you hungry? NO ONE DOES THAT ANYMORE.. people love this person, May GOD keep blessing her and her family. We love the way you're with my family and with every one, for you every one is Family, thank you for that...

Located in a cozy corner in Hialeah. Taste of the Caribbean offers an authentic Dominican dining experience that brings the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean to your plate. This small, family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem, where the warmth of the staff and owner is matched only by the richness of the food.
The main courses are where Taste of the Caribbean truly excels. The mofongo, a classic dish made with mashed plantains, garlic, and chicharrón, is a hearty and flavorful delight. Served with a side of succulent shrimp in a rich garlic sauce, it captures the essence of Dominican comfort food. The pollo guisado, a traditional stewed chicken, is tender and infused with a robust blend of spices, served alongside rice and beans that perfectly complement the dish.
So don’t hesitate to come and enjoy a delicious meal.

Was working Hialeah Gardens. My merchants suggested go go eat here. It's a small location. A little out dated and was rather warm. Owner asked what I wanted to eat. Asked her I wanted Pork Chops, and a salad. She offered Tostones. The food was real Casero Dominacan. Really good. The service was great.

Mofongo was too dry and the meat soup was missing cilantro and was bland. The mondongo was good. Music too loud
