I made the mistake (?) of ordering the amazing “Chuleta Kan Kan” while dining alone. This beast of a pork chop masterpiece was amazingly delicious—no matter where I cut into it.
Be prepared to speak some Spanish, or just try! Use your translation app—give it some effort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though they probably laughed at me and my order later.
As a bonus, it was someone’s birthday, and I witnessed some seriously native-level guiro technique—by a waitress who seemed to be a new hire. It was a great joy to experience genuine food and culture simultaneously.

Fantastic place to eat Latin food specialty Puerto Rican Cuban authentic food. I met the owner and she was fantastic, she has a heart of gold God bless her, her family and her business.
