Decent Nicaraguan food, nonexpensive. La torta de leche and the cake are great. Favorite drink melon con naranja and semilla de jicaro, also el cacao is good portions are great also. I have eaten here more than 30 times.
I've been hunting down the best place near Hialeah for a plate of Carne Asada, Queso Frito, Maduros, and Gallo Pinto. My reviews are based off the top ranking place, Pinolandia by Flagler & 12th Ave.This location has great Carne Asada! The portion is good and the taste is great! The Queso Frito was good too, I prefer it a little more crisp but it's good quality cheese. The Gallo Pinto was sub-par, it was a bit harder than I'd like. Overall if I'm too tired...
It's not easy finding a good fritanga restaurant but boy was this one a good choice, I was in the area and my friend was actually the one who introduced me to this fritanga in the area and I'm glad he did, it is kinda small but the hole in the wall type places are usually the places. If you are in the area go ahead and give it a try.
