Not sure why some of the other comments say the service is subpar, the woman was so nice and made small talk with me! She was very kind. And the food was great, great quality and taste! I really enjoyed eating here! (I got take out, if that matters!)

First time in a Vietnamese restaurant. We loved the food and the chef was very friendly and suggested us unique food.

Family owned gem in Miami lakes area. The service and food are both great! We had the ginger tea, honey chicken appetizer, and lemon grass chicken. Everything was delicious!

I really wanted to like this place because I love Vietnamese food and it’s by my house but the service here IS TERRIBLE. They have a very mean older lady who takes your order and serves you with a very despiteful attitude. I came in with my friend who was just accompanying me to have dinner and when she found out he wasn’t having anything to eat her entire demeanor changed, she turned extremely rude to us every time we had a question, prioritized other tables and even cracked a joke or two with other guests dining except with us. We never felt taken care of—-we actually felt quite uncomfortable. When it was time to pay she conveniently gave us a smile (something that surprised us after her ill treatment the whole time we were there) and proceeded to give us a poorly hand written paper with our order which we couldn’t understand. NEVER coming back here again and will warn friends and family about Green Papaya.

My husband was charged $45 for a bowl of pho and a water.
$18 for the pho.
$7 to change it to chicken (though chicken is on the menu?)
$7 for water as the restaurant pretended not to have tap water.
+ tax.
My husband didn't leave a tip, because he was, justifiably, furious.
Then the credit card charge comes through and it turns out the waitstaff added their own tip to bring the charge to $45.

Simple menu, complex and delicious tastes! Plus, very friendly service 😊
I had the beef and pork pho and an iced Vietnamese coffee. All great quality and taste. Warning: the pho broth is quite spicy, even for my spicy loving taste buds.
The coffee was an experience I didn’t remember I missed! Authentic and good portion. The pho had little meat but to me, the good taste and lean cuts made up for it. I wish the pho came with crunchy pork belly pieces and more cilantro—that would raise the experience to another level 😋

It's a family owned business that serves good sized proportions, the food is clean and vibrant tasting, as vietnamese food should be. The ladies are very kind and friendly. The restaurant is cozy and clean. They are very good about customization due to my allergies. I will be coming back soon.

I can hear religiously once a week. this is not a paid review, this pho is so good I went out my way to write this review. I've been to china to la & to nyc . this is the best pho I've ever ate. it taste and feels so organic and tasteful unlike other phos this one does not taste like sewer water.

Was hungry and craving pho late Nd and I desperately drove 20 minutes to eat here because they open later than most Vietnamese restaurants. I wish I actually read the reviews in detail before coming here :/
Somehow, a bill that added up to $29 was calculated as $42. All I ordered was a regular pho and mango smoothie. They add mysterious charges to your tab and claim that it’s “taxes” and “tip”, then an extra 3% for using a card instead of cash, pretty sure this is illegal. Oh and they won’t even give you water, they’ll charge you if you ask for it. Food not worthy enough to be scamming customers like this

I used to love coming to this place. It was literally my favorite pho. Today I was craving and I went in, but I really only wanted the soup so I asked for a cup of water. The lady comes back and brings me a bottle of water and I kindly tell her that I only want a cup of water. She refused to bring me a cup and told me that she could only give me a bottle of water and says that my other option would be a Coke. I hate when people try to sell you something just to make more money. I literally stood up and I left. She could’ve possibly made $50 on me but for a bottle of water not only did I walk out but I will never come back to this place again. I hate when people are hungry for money and they forget that Customer Service should be their top priority in order to keep their clients. It’s not about the bottle of water. I could clearly afford it, it’s about them being cheap. Thanks, but no thanks.
