My usual favorite Chinese spot is closed on Mondays so I had to find somewhere else… and that place set the bar pretty high. Was a little disappointed in this spot. It wasn’t terrible but portion size is pretty small. Presentation is okay. And the food isn’t anything to call home about. The rangoons were 95% cream cheese with a few small chunks of krab. Good thing is delivery was pretty fast. If you’re in a pinch it’s not a bad choice but I probably won’t be buying again

I ordered via Ubereats the bourbon chicken dinner combo and it was delicious! A grand amount of food. It came with pork fried rice, wonton soup and an egg roll. I enjoyed the egg roll because it wasn’t dripping oil how most Chinese restaurants sell them and the taste was great. I was skeptical before ordering the bourbon chicken just because my all time fav bourbon chicken is from the mall at Cajun Grill but let me tell you it was almost the same amazing flavor. Definitely my new favorite Chinese restaurant!

I order every 2 weeks because honestly I just LOVEE their sweet n sour chicken and their fried rice AND their wonton soup honestly 10/10 does NOT disappoint I see a lot of reviews but honestly from my pov they have great customer service and great food most importantly. When you go in person and ask about delivery even the lady in the front gives u their menu and tells you to take it home since they haven’t updated the menu yet. They even recommend me about how i should just order from them and stop ordering from the app i used to order from as it comes cheaper. So honestly 6/5.

The price menu available online does not reflect the in store prices. The rude lady in the front/ cashier said that they DONT have the capability to update the online menu. I would not consider ordering from this establishment again.
She even became upset when I did not leave a tip for a PICKUP order.. That attitude will run customers away.

When I went to pick up my order, the front desk staff notified me that the prices were higher and they did not have the capability to update the online menu. The food was decent, but unremarkable. I would not consider ordering from this establishment again. Moreover, the counter staff was rude during our phone conversation and in person, becoming upset when I did not leave a tip for a pickup order.
The food was good. They serve fast and tastes fresh. I've never seen a tub of rice but here it is jejeje the only thing I would say is that the honey walnut shrimp was overwhelmingly saturated with a thick mayo sauce.

Time to close! They need a hint that it is overdue to retire. Went in at lunch time today, Noon. Wanted to dine in. I was the only one there. The one staff person seemed to be annoyed that I was dining in. I asked if I should just leave, and she pointed to the door. I have watched this restaurant decline over 30 years, but it is obvious they never recovered from COVID. They still have things setup for distancing. Back in the day, they had great food. The last visits have been slipping, but today showed that the staff is done and need to close it up ir sell to an energetic new owner. Time for the House of Sun to let the sun set with honor.

My aunt who is 80 and her friend who is 82 were asked to not come back again. They have been going there once a week for 10 years for lunch. They ask for To go containers and maybe ask for a veggies instead of rice. I have never heard of such a thing. Your going to ask them to find a new restaurant and never come back after 10 years. I would not recommend going to eat somewhere that would do that 2 elderly women.

“chicken chow mein”. watery, bland, and just not good. not even all the soy sauce in the world could save this dystopian nastiness. took over an hour too but at least the food arrived hot (& so did the soda)
