Had to leave a review...DO NOT use Jet fuel! The issue with this meal company is ingredient integrity, customer service, and lies. If you don’t care about food allergy sensitivity, tracking your macros, or good communication, then proceed with them.
Details below:
When you first sign up, they ask you about the foods you can and can’t eat, and I specifically listed dairy as something I cannot consume.
Now, as an example, I received Mixed Nuts and Waffles. I have dairy allergies, and they told me the food would indicate that the dairy was removed and would clearly show the substitution. However, the label didn’t indicate any substitution at all.
On the first Monday I reached out and asked whether there was dairy in the meal or if it was removed, and either way, to justify the ingredients versus the macros. Do the math: about a quarter cup of nuts and three small waffle halves does not equal 47 grams of protein. How did we arrive there? To me, that amount of protein only makes sense if they add whey (dairy) protein or some other kind. The point is I did not assume — I asked for the exact ingredients used. I was told the person who knew had been contacted and they would get back to me. They never did.
The next shipment on Wednesday had a similar conflict with the almond flour pancakes. They indicated no dairy this time at least, but again, no substitution was listed as promised. I called again — they said they still didn’t know. By Thursday, I tried again, and they still wouldn’t respond to ingredient questions and redirected me to call customer service. I tried calling, left my details, and was not called back the whole day. By end of day, I called back and found that they do not answer unless you select the option for sales. When they finally answered, they said, “We already told you no dairy.” I reiterated that this was not my question. Note: I have been very clear and thorough on my request via phone and text, so both they and I have the full chat log. My question was about the ingredients and macros, and she again stated that the person who knew the ingredients was not available, adding that they wouldn’t be available for a week because they were on vacation, and no one else knew.
I was shocked. The obvious question was: how are you cooking food if the person with the ingredient list is not available? Are robots working at your facility? They were stumped by the question. They said they would call someone and call me back; however, they didn’t. Therefore, by end of day I tried to reach out several times, but they didn’t answer. So I texted back and told them not to bother answering and that I would cancel. After a full week of asking for ingredients and macros with no details provided, I did not want to continue, as I didn’t feel comfortable with the integrity of the ingredients. They again tried to justify that they had given me what I asked for, but with no details. I reiterated the issue. They finally apologized and, without me asking, said to allow 5–10 business days for a full refund, which was the best thing I had heard from them. That was Friday, November 14th.
I reached out about 15 business days later on Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2) because I still hadn’t received the refund. No answer. As of today, December 4th, still no answer. So essentially, they lied about the refund and ghosted me.
This company has no integrity. They don’t stand by their ingredients, they don’t stand by their promises, and their customer service is horrible.
