So, my experience was kinda unique. Looking for a job, new to town. Decided to try this restaurant out. My dad gets drunk and asks for the chef. The chef, however, fully sober decides to perform an interview on the spot. Do I tell him steak tartare shouldn't be a mess of blood on the plate mid interview?
Amazing French food!! One of the best I had in miami so far❤️♥️

Hit or miss experience. This was our second time at Fresa. Our first visit was perfect. We had a table for two and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The main dishes we liked were the arugula salad and steak tartare. The salted butter crepe was also outstanding. We would have been ok skipping other dishes we ordered like the veal croquettes, potato app and foie gras pastelito. Not worth it. The second time we went was a mess. We reserved a table for a Sunday brunch. It was unfortunate that the owner wasn't there this time. Our orders took 50 minutes to arrive. It turns out that our waitress forgot to put it in, and we only realized this when others who came after us received their order. We were further disappointed with the eggs cocotte and the croque madame, but the crêpes complètes with potatoes were delicious, as was the French press coffee. Despite the poor attention to service, they still added a 20% tip to the final bill. We were disappointed overall with the experience, and will not go back for brunch.

So let’s start with the cons . It was hot ! A/c is not working, plus they had a mini split wall unit . They needed like 5 more to cool off the place. So warm that they had fans on the floor at the entrance. And that still didn’t help. We needed to book a large group and no one answered. We tried on 3 different occasions and no answer. We ended up having to book 3 separate tables. So it was a mess. Needless to say, our group sat separately.
Pros , food is great ! And servers were amazing ! especially Alejandro and Milena she rocks ! ?? so patient and informative about the menu. She had great recommendations. We’ll be back in the cooler months for brunch.

Brunch at La Fresa Francesa was a delightful experience! The food was increíble - authentic French cuisine with a creative twist. The foie guava pastelito was a standout, a must-try! We also enjoyed the croque madame, croissant sandwich special, and their delicious burger.
Our group of 10 was celebrating a birthday, and our waiter was attentive, professional, and truly spectacular. He made the perfect Saturday brunch even better. Highly recommend!

Alejandro (Server) and the manager were very attentive and efficient. The attention to detail in this restaurant is superb, as well as the food. Music was delightful and despite being in a very busy corner, ambiance did not disappoint. Do not miss the opportunity to try this (out of the ordinary) delightful spot. Do not come thinking this is an entirely French restaurant. I found a fusion of French and Latin dishes that was original and refreshing.

A restaurant like few others. Charming, cozy, exquisite food and distinguished treatment.
It truly transports us to a little corner of France after each of its details. And their chocolate coffee to remember.
We will return!
French Dining in Hialeah? For most that’s a hard pass. But if you don’t try it, you’ll be missing out on one of the finest hidden gems. The outside of this place is very confusing. No signage with the name other than on the Main Street. But when you walk in, you’ll find a friendly crew and amazing food. We had duck confit, scallops, paté, escargot, and the cheese course for dessert. It was amazing. I’ll be back for sure. I suggest you give it a try. You won’t regret it.
