I have been ordering takeout from this place for a year now and their food has been consistently good. It’s a traditional Cuban place and the quantity that you get comes in generous portions. Their pork was expertly seasoned and juicy. The guarapo juice wasn’t that great. It tasted old. I won’t be getting it again. Besides that, the food is pretty good.
Yesterday I looked up the menu and the Cuban tamales are 3.50, so I called asking how much they cost without cooking and they told me that tamales as you want cost 4.75. Today I went and they charged them at 5.00 each and it was to go. Until the price increase. Very rich but they raise it every day. They also have a fee and a tip. ??
I went to buy chicharrones but they always make them with too much fat and not enough meat and very very expensive 3 lb for $75 I called to place the order and they told me to go and I had to wait in a horrible line...
