Had a tradition for years to come to Moro castle on a cold night for churros and hot chocolate. Was so disappointed during our visit today. The chocolate was not the traditional thick home made chocolate it was just like drinking instant cocoa made with water. The batter of the churros was not the original recipe. Not sure what provoked the change in recipes but they lost a life time customer

Started in 1966 this place has the soul and flavor of Miami. The staff is like family and the owner is like that cool uncle you love to talk to. Affordable and without equal. All this tucked away in the middle of Hialeah.

So sad they changed their croquetas now we can’t go anymore after going over 35 years. Disappointed 😔 Now we need a new spot for breakfast every Sunday before church.

It does not get better then this, anywhere. When I go to Miami I schedule time to go and eat here. We always feel like we are sitting in a close friends house eating home made meals prepared by people who care.
