The service and food were wonderful. I had the fried pork chunks with the rice and beans (congri) and they were delicious. I’m not a huge fan of congri from restaurants until now. These were the best I’ve had. My daughter had the best Vaca Frita we’ve ever had and delicious truffle fries. Our waiter, Henry, was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Good music, the Van Van, with an affordable volume, good service, well prepared food, good flavor, especially the congris, but very little of everything, the chicken steak, extremely small, the hot Rabo expensive, for the little they serve, two large and three or four super small, everything I ate had good flavor, but very little of everything.

BE AWARE THAT A TIP IS STILL EXPECTED ON TOP OF 18% SERVICE CHARGE!!! I ordered the vaca frita and it was delicious! But unfortunately when the check came there was an 18% service charge and according to our waiter this service charge is not considered his tip and is kept by the restaurant to pay the waiters’ salary. So of course we were expected to tip on top of the 18% service charge they are already charging. If this isn’t illegal it definitely should be! It’s terrible to feel like I’ve been robbed after such a good meal.

Yesterday afternoon, Sunday, I was at the restaurant and the service was excellent. The place was very nice and everything was very clean, but the food really wasn't what I expected. I ordered stuffed tostones and ropa vieja, it had no flavor, just like the lamb I ordered. It had no flavor, it was as if it was boiled, and it's a shame because it's a very cozy place.

I loved this restaurant! The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and Henry's service was spectacular. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!
