I can’t remember the last time I actually had a Cuban sandwich. This is a very small café. It mostly appears to be carry out business. There are a couple of small tables and chairs, as well as a counter with stools that you can eat at. On the day I was here, there were numerous pastelitos of different types. both sweet and savory. I had a couple of savory ones and a couple of sweet ones. They were pretty good. I wouldn’t say they were outstanding, but they were good. I got a Cuban sandwich that came with french fries. I did really enjoy the Cuban sandwich.

I ordered the breakfast bagel and could not get over the egg replacement. I’ve been vegan for nearly 10 years and I’ve tried many egg alternatives, but this is the first time I can honestly say that you’d never know it wasn’t eggs. 10/10

Just what South FL was missing! We are fortunate in South FL to have many vegan options, but lets be honest, you have to pay a premium for them, which I typically don't mind too much to support a fully vegan establishment. Happy Vegan Bakers however, not only offers some delicious traditional latin bakery cuisine, it does so at traditional prices! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend stopping by and trying everything!

I left a Google review, then started to read others. It was interesting that myself and another guest chose the the same word, "gem"!! Take notice it is! Outstanding food, better service!! Is there anything else?? Can't wait until I return again!!

Stopped by on our way into town after finding this spot here on Happy Cow. Excellent decision!! I had the arroz con “pollo” which comes with your choice of tostones or maduros. Since I love both, I asked for their recommendation, and ended up with tostones. The entire dish was amazing!! I found the “chicken” to be a bit on the salty side, but I tend to use little to no salt in my cooking, so my taste might be a bit skewed. For dessert, my daughter and I shared a half dozen churros. Spot on delicious! Even my daughter (non-vegan teen) was surprised at how good they were! We are debating on stopping by again on our way out to bring home a dozen churros to share with the rest of the family! The only downside, which appeared to possibly be temporary, is that the inside is closed. You order at a window, and wait outside until your name is called (only if you order from the kitchen; they had some pre-cooked options in a display case as well). There are three 2-person tables on the narrow sidewalk; luckily we were able to snag the last one!

If you’re missing Cuban style breakfast, this is the place to go. Croquetas, pastellitos and empanadas!! They are all good. They have lots of Latin favorites for lunch too. Oh and the staff, super friendly. I just suggest you call ahead so you don’t have to wait. It’s so worth it!!

Omg I don’t know where to start with this place. I wish I could give it 10 stars. From the friendly customer service to the AMAZING vegan food. They have an unbelievable menu, fried traditional items from Cuba. I got the special ( can’t remember the name I just know we ate it in the parking lot). The owners were SO FRIENDLY! If I had to say 1 thing negative it would be that YOUR TO FAR LOL!! Thanks for making amazing vegan for with love and amazing authentic flavors. #Veganuary

This spot is right on. They are mastering the flake, munch and crunch of classic pastelitos without the use of dairy or eggs. What I always tell friends is: Happy Vegan Bakers is truly a miami cafeteria. Most vegan spaces are absolutely TAXING! By that I mean overcharging so much; causing those who care to familiarize themselves with vegan foods to turn away because they are assuming everything is too expensive and very little food is served… on the other hand at Happy Vegan Bakers I feel as if it’s really Hispanic style. They are surely serving you with a good hand if you’re ordering from their main menu. Their croqueta preparada is delicious, great sized and just too good. Alongside their countless pastelitos to choose from. I always love to grab a Colombian style empanada or an oven baked one, alongside their queso crema pastelito!! Never thought I’d have one of those again after cleaning my eating style…. But man… so nostalgic. So good.

The food was very good. Great service. There was a line and understandable so. Glad to see vegan establishments flourishing.
