Caffe Portofino truly exceeded my expectations, it truly is a gem of a restaurant. My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner at Caffe Portofino for his birthday. We had seen it many times on our way home and decided to give it a try. Overall a pleasant evening with good italian food. I can't say great but it was very good. Osso Bucco was outstanding, Veal Picatta was a bit tough but tasty, special cannelloni was good but nothing special. Staff was relatively prompt but slow to pour wine. Brought my own bottle of Amarone that a birthday gift. $20 corkage fee was very high compared to comparable restaurants. They did a very nice and well plated dessert and sang. Nice touch. Great little restaurant with excellent food and service. Visited restaurant with our friends and were extremely satisfied with the overall quality of food and service. They also have a great wine selection. Great place for a 1st date or special occasion.
