A hidden gem , Donald is great down to earth guy , you can tell that making healthy food is what brings him joy . He didn’t hesitate to show me and my younger sibling some samples and educate us on his style of cooking and some of the health benefits behind some of his meals. A Plant-Based Gem! Vegan lovers!!! Quinoa Connections is hands-down one of the best plant-based restaurants I’ve ever been to! The entire menu is creative, delicious, and totally satisfying—even for those who usually eat meat. I had the meatless shepherd’s pie topped with sweet potato, and it was absolutely incredible—flavorful, hearty, and comforting.
What really blew me away was the quality of their meatless options. They don’t rely on Impossible or Beyond—everything is made in-house, with unique ingredients like pecan-based proteins. I honestly couldn’t even tell it wasn’t meat. I loved it so much I had to take a meatless burger home for dinner!
The desserts are next level. I had chocolate-covered dates in “snow” (a heavenly treat!) and was so hooked I grabbed a sweet potato pie tart and a passionfruit tart to go. We are officially obsessed!
To top it all off, the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. They even brought out free samples for us to try, which just made the whole experience even better.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. Whether you’re plant-based or just curious, Quinoa Connections is a must

The food was very healthy, wholesome and delicious. I loved seasoning, it had perfect amount of flavor and wasn’t salty. The dark chocolate peanut butter drops were delicious and all natural. The passion fruit nada was also great. The customer service was awesome and I could tell that the food was made with love. It was exactly what I was looking for and I will eat there again, anytime. If you’re looking for a healthy, wholesome, organic, dairy, gluten free, and no flour, just good ingredients. I would highly recommend.

Went looking for a vegan restaurant while flying through Miami and found this place was a short Uber ride from the hotel. Not much to look at and appears to mainly be a carry out because there was just one table for two but it was fantastic! The owner Donald was more than accommodating and attentive. He really had an enthusiasm for vegan food. There were several entree options which were mostly Quinoa focused. I had the meatless burger and my wife had a vegan version of the Cuban specialty picadillo which was great. However the highlight were the desserts and frozen treats. Try the key lime tart!!!

Stopped by today to check the only vegan option in the neighborhood. Got three of the frozen dessert empanadas, I usually avoid anything made with dates because they never taste like a real dessert but these were sooo good, very sweet and tasty just like a dessert should be. Will be back to try some savory options for sure

I usually don't take the time to write a review but this place deserves 5 stars!! owner is so friendly, he gave my partner and I an assortment of his creations and they were all so good. 1st of all, I never use Grubhub, but now as an Amazon prime member, I get free delivery.
2nd reason why I don’t order from Grubhub is that I am always so suspect that these restaurants I never heard of are ghosts kitchens making vegan food, who might not care about vegans, and I was wrong to assume that about Quinoa Connection. Not only do they have a location at 134 Hialeah Drive in Hilaleah (which I intend to visit soon), the owner, Donald, called and texted to verify my order, my allergies and to confirm my satisfaction as well, (plus he gave me a little extra treat too).
I order the “Pecandillo” which is essentially a Picadillo made with pecans instead of meat, tomatoes, onions, peppers, garlic, olives, raisins, and spices, served on top of quinoa and I added black beans for an extra charge. The portion was very satisfying and the taste and flavors were incredible.
As a surprise for a dessert, I was given an house made dessert empanada aka The Nada Empanada tm Key Lime, A Frozen Date, Almond, Orange Zest Pocket, filled with Key Lime Pie filling: lime juice, avocado, raw organic agave, coconut cream, vanilla, sea salt, and it was out of the world delicious! Literally the best variation of an ice cream sandwich I have ever had.
10 of out 10 for me on this one! The price was right, the portions were perfect, the owner was courteous and super kind, and the food was delicious and nutritious!
